A's trade Gonzalez to Nat's

The Oakland Athletic's all-star pitcher, Gia Gonzalez, has told the Associated Press that the A's have agreed to trade him to the Nationals. The Nationals will also receive minor-league pitcher Rob Gilliam.

The Athletics will get pitchers Brad Peacock, Tommy Milone, A.J Cole, and catcher Derek Norris.

So who'll get the better deal once it's done?

Nationals probably won this trade. They have an amazing farm system, so if they lose a few players, they should be fine. And Gio Gonzalez is a pretty good pitcher who will make their rotation really good with Strasburg in there too.

This should strengthen the Nats.
All these years of failing gave them good draft picks, so they can afford to give away some prospects for some established talent.
