It is American Football in an Arena, and there are walls all around the field, so fans can get real up close. An Arena Football field is 50 yards long, instead of 100 yards. There is way more action in Arena Football, but Arena Football is no where close as popular as the NFL.
Also, in Arena Football, if the QB throws the football out of bounds, a lucky fan gets to keep the football, so it's everybody for themselves to try and get the football.
ive been to a ton of Shreveport-Bossier BattleWings games.(Since im only like 5miles away from it.) Its alright, lot of nice catches and hard hits into the walls.(kinda like hockey if you think about it)
We had an arena team, but our owners split after two years and many players complaining over not being paid. 4yrs later they know they will never see it and long story short the main man was arrested on federal embezzlement charges.
Grand opening was pushed back once again, we'll just say it's TBA for now. We are still waiting on the completion of some custom development that has been in the works.
