A Pro of the Short Season...

Remember my thread I created a while back about this lockout possibly ruining my Celtics' chance at a title, seeing as there core are always getting older and each season is precious?

Well now that the 66 game season is official, this can actually be looked at in a positive light for teams such as Boston. With a roster comprised of mainly older vets, the shorter season is likely not to take as heavy of a toll on them.

Grinding it out for 66 games is much less strenuous 82 games. So not everything about the lockout sucked I suppose... :P

Yea. It's pretty awesome if you think about it. I mean, I dont have cable so I dont even get to see many games at all, so the shortened season isnt so terrible for me...

Yeah, a shorter season will benefit older players especially.

Yeah this is going to be good for teams like the Celtics and Lakers who have a lot of older players.

He should have retired after he played for the Blazers. He has nothing left after that season when he did all he could to help us.

Oh, I wouldnt count them out to win it next season either... The Big Three aren't aging badly, and perhaps the Celts will trade for some younger guys soon.
