    Best Player Never to Win a Ring

    Karl Malone to me is hands down the best player to never win a ring. There are others on the list, but I think he tops it off. Charles Barkley could be up there, but I don't think he's on the same level as Malone.

    Stanton hits 462ft Home run!

    That shot to the chops by a pitch is what kept him out for a while. I think that sort of slowed his development as a player. Hitting home runs like that only makes him suspect in my book. I know the guy is big, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him test positive for PED's.

    That's a pretty sad record in the game of baseball lol. Not too bad for a pitcher though. I think there are still some pitchers that have never hit a homerun, so good for him. Dude looks like he has the build to where he should be able to knock them out the park.

    There is another key difference. In general, in roller hockey a ball is used. In ice hockey they use a puck.

    Violence in kids hockey?

    It's been sewed into the fabric of hockey forever. Good luck lobbying to get violence taken out. They already penalize for fights, but they allow them to go on for a bit of time. The NHL knows that their viewership would be much lower without the violence, and that's just the sad truth.

    In the spirit of the other sports forum I'll tell you about one unique event I attended and worked at. In 2010 I responded to a job listing, and ended up being a water boy at the West Coast regional championships of ultimate frisbee. It was interesting to watch.

    Favorite Sport

    By far for playing now I'm into golf. I'm at a point of obsession. As far as watching I enjoy basketball the most. The game is fast paced, and there is a lot of scoring going on. Even though it's not my team I love watching Golden State.
