Spurs Predicted To Make ‘Major Leap’ Next Season

The time has come for the San Antonio Spurs to take a huge leap forward.

That’s according to Michael C. Wright, who wrote about the season ahead for the Spurs.

In his piece for ESPN, he said that the growth of Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle will anchor the team in 2025-26, and there is every reason to believe that other additions will help them become a team to watch in the Western Conference.

“The Spurs produced a streak of 22 consecutive postseason appearances from 1997-98 to 2018-19 and could finally be poised to end their six-year drought after drafting in the top 10 for four straight years. The health and development of San Antonio’s young talent — especially back-to-back NBA Rookie of the Year winners Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle — will be crucial in leading a revamped roster that now features another Rookie of the Year candidate in No. 2 pick Dylan Harper, along with veteran additions such as Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk,” Wright wrote.

Everyone has been waiting for this Spurs team to become truly competitive.

When they acquired Wembanyama in the draft a couple of years ago, it was predicted that he’d be one of the best players in the league in no time at all.

But everyone said the squad around him would need to get better in order for the Spurs to truly be scary.

The front office has been hard at work, and lucky in the draft, and it might all pay off in the new year.

Of course, everyone in the lineup, including Wembanyama, needs to stay healthy, and the coaching staff needs to figure out how to get past some tough competition.

But most people agree the team should finally be back in the playoffs, which will be a delight for fans who have missed San Antonio’s postseason participation for six years.

Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs is about to start his third season in the NBA, and it might be his best yet.

His first two years have been filled with ups and downs, but his third campaign could be consistently great from beginning to end.

An image of Wembanyama is making the rounds online because it features the Spurs star looking like he’s put on some weight during the summer.

His arms look strong and toned, meaning that Wembanyama is paying close attention to his physicality for the upcoming season.

Ever since entering the NBA, there have been concerns about how Wembanyama is built.

He’s incredibly tall, of course, but he’s also a very skinny young man.

Some Spurs fans are afraid that his sort of build cannot last long in the league, and they are afraid that he will get hurt or simply won’t be able to keep up with the competition.

Wembanyama isn’t accepting that and has been figuring out ways to get bigger.

He looks much different than he did when he was a rookie, and that’s a promising development for the Spurs.

Wembanyama was only able to play in 46 games last season due to a health issue.

But that problem has been resolved, and now Wembanyama is prepared to launch into his third season, stronger and healthier than ever before.

Over the last few months, Wembanyama has been traveling the world and finding ways to get his mind in the right place before 2025-26.

He has obviously also been enhancing his physique.

Wembanyama was already scary in the frontcourt, but this new look promises he’ll be even more frightening to the competition.

De’Aaron Fox of the San Antonio Spurs is 6-foot-3, which means he doesn’t dunk the basketball often.

But when he does, it is something to behold.

A video of Fox dunking at a kids’ basketball camp is making the rounds online.

In the video, Fox catches great air, performs a perfect windmill dunk, and then has something to say about it after.

“Tell them boys I still got bounce. Tell them I choose not to dunk. I put that thing in the basket without dunking,” Fox said.

Spurs fans would love to see more moves like this in the upcoming season.

The Spurs might not need Fox to make these sorts of dunks in the 2025-26 season, especially because they have one of the best big men in the league, Victor Wembanyama.

But it’s still an astonishing sight, and Fox should be proud of himself for how he moved and dunked.

Last season was a very eventful one for Fox, and he saw his career change in huge ways.

He moved on from the Sacramento Kings, which is something that many people saw coming for the last few years.

He settled down with the Spurs, a team he reportedly wants to be with for the long-term future.

During his 17 games in San Antonio, Fox averaged 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists on 44.6 percent from the field.

A lot of fans believe that he was still finding his footing with the Spurs during those 17 games, so they expect bigger and better things from him when the new season kicks off next month.

Fox is hoping to do a lot for the Spurs.

He may not be performing rim-rattling dunks like this, but Fox is prepared to perform well and impress loyal Spurs fans.
