What's so good about a bunch of old men running around a field, jumping on each other to try and get a ball?

What's so entertaining about it and why do you carry on watching it all the time? :P

The hard hits. :3

Who doesn't like to see guys lay a huge hit on other guys? Epicness.

Also, some of the plays are just outstanding and are fun to watch.

The desire the players have to win. You don't see that in any other sport in the world. Desire. When they have reached the point of their athletic ability, they keep fighting. American football is a sport that requires not only athletic ability, but a mental desire as well. It requires a large amount of teamwork.

The only old man in the NFL is Bret Favre and now he's retired anyway....

What's not to like about football? Hard hits, amazing plays, etc.

Isn't he a kicker. And if you ever watch football, it gets really intense, and you can't get really into it. It takes you a while to learn all the rules, but once you learn everything, football is a blast to play and watch.

John Carney is an old man: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Carney_%28American_football%29]en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Carney_%28American_football%29[/url]

He is a 46 year old NFL free agent.

Umm.. kickers don't count. :P

They can go until they're 50 and still have gas in the tank.
