The Big 12 has told West Virginia that it will be accepted into the conference by as soon as Tuesday, a Big 12 source said.

The Mountaineers will make the jump from the Big East to the Big 12 as a replacement for Missouri, who is heading to the SEC.

Thoughts?

This is stupid. Their are teams all across the Country in the Big 12 now. Most of the teams from the Big 12 were in the south, but West Virginia isn't even close to being south. I hate this.

Nebraska is in the Mid-west.... :P

The Big 12 has to add somebody now that Mizzou is leaving, otherwise they're gonna get dominated by other conferences. West Virginia probably sounded a lot better than SMU.

I enjoyed playing them each year... it's upsetting to see them go. I don't like how so many teams are switching conferences. It's getting confusing. :P

Yeah...I agree. Plus, pretty soon there's gonna be all these super-conferences or whatever they're calling them...that's gonn be annoying because those conferences are just gonna dominate the BCS and eventually, it'll just be like twoleagues kind of, because the two teams that get to the BSC Championsip would most likely be from the super-conference....I think the SEC will for sure be a 16 team conference eventually, probably the Big-10 and PAC-10, maybe the ACC, I doubt the Big-12 or Big-East will be though.

The Mountain West probably won't exist eventually, the way teams keep leaving.
