Do you prefer to watch sports or play them?

There are some sports that I just love to play, like Soccer, but I just can't sit down and watch them. Soccer isn't a high scoring game either so that makes it harder to watch in my opinion.

Same. I like playing soccer and volleyball and such, but watching them doesn't appeal to me at all.

It depends on what kind of sport.

For example, if it is ice hockey, obviously I prefer to watch (as I cannot skate and I am not good at hockey).

If it is soccer, I prefer playing.

It's much enjoyable and easier for me to watch and criticize rather than play them like soccer. I'll play every now and then but I'll get exhausted really quickly and my body will get sore by the next day, so you can say it's because I'm not fit at all.

I love to watch certain sports like football and soccer. Sometimes, I like to play sports. Tennis, Volleyball, and basketball were mine in high school. Oh, and cheerleading too from first grade and up. I guess, generally, I'd like to be more active by actually participating in sports than watching them. But, certain sports are better watched than played for me.

I prefer to play most sports, like tennis and basketball etc. But there are some sports that I do prefer to watch, like (ice) hockey. I'm not good at playing hockey but I do enjoy watching it. I'm not interesting in watching most sports other than hockey.

I love doing both. I am not particularly skilled at any sport (sometimes I get lucky with bowling) lol but I enjoy watching and playing for fun.

Of course I prefer to play although I am not good at all sports I really have a wide range of those that I am good at. I refer football, the real one of course, basketball, cycling, running and table tennis. I also play darts very well and I believe it is a sport. There are few that I prefer to watch than play like Ski Jumping and flying, Snooker, Curling and tennis which is a no-sweat sport if you ask me and it should have stayed an amateur one.

As a golfer, I love to watch it on TV. I think it's really cool to see the pros handle themselves during a tournament and it gets intense when a playoff occurs. Not many people appreciate golf on TV and claim it's boring; however, if you play it you'll understand it that much more. As for other sports, I'll throw on a basketball game every now and then or hockey game. Soccer is a little too slow for me.

Inside me, I want to play the sport, but I'm physically incapable. I'm not disabled; I'm just that obese and voluptuous. With that, I just enjoy watching volleyball players doing their spikes and digs. But sometimes, I get jealous that I just want to go to the court and block the balls.

I don't really like getting all sweaty and all. It is hot in here and I don't like to play most of the time and yes. It has everything to do with my small build :(
No team really want a shorty in their team after all. Well, I like to watch though.

You can feel the tension in the air even when you watch a game. So, I prefer watching the game most of the time.
