The Twins have placed Jim Thome on waivers.

Sad news for me.... I love Jim Thome.


I think Thome will probably sign with the Indians or Whitesox...possibly the Blue Jays since they seem to only care about getting draft picks...Thome would probably be worth a draft pick, so I could see the Jays picking him up and then trading him soon after...
 
That's too bad. I love Thome.
If he doesn't get signed, though, he could finish his career with exactly 600 homers, which would be pretty cool.
 
That's sad how he just got 600 HR's now they want him gone.
 
It would be even more sad if they let him go with 599 HRs. :P
 
Although, this could actually be good for Thome.
He might end up being traded to a future World Series champion team, and then he would get his ring.
