Before I was talking about how we should get over the snow. This is turning into a disaster. Within the last few hours 5 people have been hurt when ice fell off the roof of Cowboys Stadium. One of these people is in critical condition. The stadium is now roped off.

I don't know what to say. I think we can get over the weather but if we can't get into the stadium we have a problem. I don't know what to say...

I hope that this is the last we hear of this but i am starting to get the feeling that it might be getting worse.

Yeah, I didn't think it was a good idea for Dallas to host the Superbowl in the first place.

May i ask why? Have you seen the stadium? We built a wonder of the world for this thing. This hasn't happened for over 30 years

This guy was just posting reasons for a city to not have a superbowl. I will copy the reasons in.

1. If MTV would never film a "Real World" season in your city, you probably shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

2. If your city shuts down for drinking at 2 a.m., you probably shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

3. If your downtown isn't big enough to house everybody, so some visitors will have to stay in another city that's at least 35-40 minutes away, you probably shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

Tom Pennington/Getty ImagesMemo to Vegas: Please, build a football stadium so you can host a Super Bowl.

4. If I have to pack a winter jacket, you shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

5. If you don't have enough luxury hotels with sizable minibars that call girls can ravage after a heavy hitter, celebrity, rapper or suit passes out, you probably shouldn't host a Super Bowl.

6. If you're located in a place that makes no sense whatsoever for a February family vacation or a spring break week, you probably shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

7. If your city is short on strippers and/or cabs, you probably shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

8. If your airport is more than 35 minutes away from your downtown, you probably shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

9. If your location doesn't quadruple the chances that a player on one of the two teams will get arrested, you shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

10. If the only reason the Super Bowl is in your city is "We just built a new stadium," you shouldn't host the Super Bowl.

1. Not relevant

2. This happens to be the bible belt...

3. It's big enough just Fort Worth, Dallas, and Arlington couldn't decide who got everything so they split it up. One team is in Dallas with the media, the other team is in Fort Worth, the game is in Arlington halfway between.

4. Dallas IS NOT that cold of a place...this is a freak of nature. The superbowl in New York is going to be crazy.

5. I don't understand this one...we have some big places

6. During spring break people go north for snow and skiing...those places would not be good for Superbowls

7. This isn't relevant but Dallas is big with that...

8. The airport is for DFW...Dallas Fort Worth...two cities....and it's one of the bigger ones in the nation

9. well there are tons of stripper clubs around here...

10. What about the fact that the Cowboys are the biggest brand in sports...

I think that Dallas is one of the best places for the superbowl now that they have the stadium. I understand that florida is warmer but Dallas is normally pretty warm about this time of year...
