Yes Baseball has already begun. Teams and players have been at spring training for over 2 weeks now and have already started Spring Training games. Does anyone here follow spring training?

I might watch one or two spring games a year, but for the most part I usually just wait for the regular season. Not a big fan of preseason games of any sport.

I try to keep up with Spring Training, but it doesn't mean much to me except that Baseball is just around the corner. The Reds aren't doing too fly, but I'm not gonna even consider worrying until the actual season starts up.

I am really digging the Reds new Spring Training (throwback) caps. I wouldn't mind using those as our regular season caps.

The Twins are 5-2 so far...I almost want to believe we have a chance of being pretty decent this year, but we'll see...

Honestly, in my opinion how a team does in Spring Training means nothing. The only reason I follow it is because of seeing which Pirates prospects and Minor-League invites will make the squad

The Reds are 2-7 so far... :/

I really hope this doesn't mean anything.

I follow spring training as close as anybody. My Mets are tied with Miami in the 8th right now!

Spring Training seems so meaningless though. :P

How do you think the Mets will do this season? :)

Mets will finish 3rd or 4th in NL East. Their plan is rebuilding for the years to come with prospects such as Travis D'Arnaud and Zack Wheeler. I am excited!

I wish them the best of luck rebuilding. I am a Rays fan, and I feel like it is only a matter of time until we start needing to rebuild as well. We have a great pitching staff and a few pretty nice prospects, but when your team is gutted year after year, it is always becoming more difficult to be a competitive franchise. For example, we lost B.J. Upton to the Braves.

Who do you think will win the NL East? Braves or Nationals? :)

Nationals will continue the "worst-to-first" saga. And as a Rays fan, you must be exuberant about the Wil Myers/Mike Montgomery acquisition.

Personally, I feel this will be Atlanta's year. I think they have an argument for the best outfield in the league with Jason Heyward, Justin Upton, and B.J. Upton. They lost the team's veteran leader and franchise player with Chipper Jones finally deciding to retire, but I think someone is going to quickly step up and become the new team leader. At the same time though, it could very well be a total melt down with a bunch of star players not getting along very well. I guess we will have to see on that.

Yeah, I am especially excited about Wil Myers. It would be awesome to have another all-around great player like Evan Longoria. Wil Myers looks like he could very well be a franchise player, if not in Tampa Bay, elsewhere. We have locked up a lot of money with Evan Longoria's long-term deal though, so if Wil Myers were to sprout into a star, it is questionable whether we would be able to keep him very long. What do you think of the David Price trade rumors? Is it only a matter of time until he is elsewhere?

Twins will finish last in the American League Central.

I think we'll at least do better than the Royals. I'm not hoping for much, but finishing 3rd would be great, I think we have a fair shot at beating out the Indians. Honestly, the we're really only lacking pitching. Our bats look pretty good.

Indians have improved this offseason. Terry Francona is their manager right?

The Twins have improved too...I think. I don't know, but don't count us out of anything.

EDIT: Just remembered, we released Nishioka, so yeah, we definitely improved this off-season.

Yeah I expect the Twins to be better this year. I don't even know about the White Sox. They haven't really improved, but I don't think they will be bad.

I would guess that the Sox come in 2nd, behind the Tigers. Haven't really followed them at all this off-season though (because why would i?)

I don't know, the Royals look pretty strong!
