If so that is nothing here as we around 40inches a year, if not more. Usually at least twice a year we get 12+inches in less then two days and at times it falls an inch+ per hour.

We probably got 3-5 inchs. The Blizzard of 2010 just missed us.
But we don't have as many salt trucks and stuff so we get out of school more for ice on the road.

But we don't have as many salt trucks and stuff so we get out of school more for ice on the road.i figured that much. I know someone who moved here from South Carolina last year and as shocked at how much snow we get and how little we close. Everything probably shuts down out there as they probably don't know how to drive in it. I haven't driven in snow yet and am not really looking forward to it. A few weeks ago an entire city shut down because they got more then two feet of snow in a couple days and simply couldn't keep up with it. It was a small town right on Lake Michigan that pretty much shuts down anyway once winter because it is a town where mostly "snow birds" stay when it is warm. Snow birds are people that live here in nice homes typically on lakes in the summer and then head south for the winter. Ha it wasn't all that warm down there last week as even they got some snow.

Omg, I feel so bad for the little leaguers then because they wet to DC last weekend and it was snowing like crazy!

Snow is fun, except that it is so cold.
