Texas officials were recently shocked after a kangaroo was seen hopping across a Liberty County road. With the help of nearby residents, wildlife officers and police were able to corner and subdue the animal.

Following the incident, police quickly began searching for the kangaroo's owner. They are asking anyone with information about the animal's origins or whereabouts to contact the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.

Can you believe I've never seen a kangaroo in my life? I hope I can see one someday; they seem very cute, at least from what I've seen in videos.
