Lol that's pretty random... it seems like all incidents involving fights and athletes happen in clubs. :P
 
Yea, remember when Paul Pierce was stabbed 9 times? If I recall correctly that was either in a club or very soon after leaving one.

I kind of remember that, I thought it was 11 times though, and it was some kind of bar fight or something.

I just corrected myself in the post above yours.

And nothing about him fighting I dont think... He was also smashed over the head with a bottle. And the stabbing did require lung surgery.
 
Come on, the guy didn't even touch Rondo. This is nothing compared to when Pierece was stabbed 11 times at a night club who would have died if Tony Battie (who is one of my favorite players for saving Pierce from dying) just think how much of tragedy it would be for the Celtics to lose their franchise player to murder. Then there would have been no Big 3 or anything. Thank you Tony Battie!
 
He was probably not an NBA fan at all...I doubt it had anything to do with favorite teams...the guy was probably just really drunk.

Well you use that smiley alot, so it's hard to tell sometimes if you're being serious or joking. Plus I'm tired, so I'm not exactly doing my best thinking through of things... :P

It seems like whenever an athlete gets punched/stab/shot it's either in a club or near a taxi....

I don't remember that, but that sounds crazy. Good thing he was okay. And good thing Rondo is okay now.
 
Yea. I might have been incorrect about 9 times... I got confused with 50 Cent getting SHOT 9 times. I think Pierce was stabbed 11 times actually.

All depends on caliber, distance, velocity, environment, impact time, what clothes they were wearing, etc. :D

Fitty's lucky enough to have survived.

I already mentioned the Pierce incident, and so did several other members.

People around here need to read the the thread's replies, or at least skim!
