Sometimes it can be. It matters if profanity is used in the certain song, and what type of profanity it is. If it is songs that are referring to sexual actions, I think it is a bad influence for kids, and younger teens.

Depends on the artist....some is OK while others are horrible for kids to listen to.

Well if cussing and sexual remarks are a big deal to someone they shouldn't be listening to it kinda like how a little kid shouldn't watch a rated R movie.
 
It definitely can be a bad influence, but I avoid rap if it's bad. Lupe Fiasco is my favorite rapper, he's clean and his music is really catchy.

I think that a lot rappers today are a bad influence when they talk about things like sex and I don't like listening to rap music today. Also, there were rappers like Tupac who would cuss a lot in their songs too.
 
I don't think it's a bad influence. I mean, parents will most likely disallow their kids from listening to these songs, until they think the kids are mature enough to handle it. If the parents believe the kids are mature enough, then I can't see it being a bad influence.
