Raiders fire Jackson

The Oakland Raiders have fired Head Coach Hue Jackson today. I personally don't think this was a great decision, as they finished 8-8, and had a pretty decent season with him. I guess Jackson was also involved in some team drama that may have caused this firing.

Thoughts.

I think they should have given him at least one more season to try and get the Raiders to the playoffs... And if he gets them in the playoffs, then he earns a contract for a few years. They started the season 7-4, and didn't finish well. The Raiders finished 8-8, so that's a big flaw. They lost four of their last five games.

This kinda surprised me. I agree that they probably should have given him one more year, but at the same time, starting 7-4 and ending up 8-8 is pretty disappointing, so this really could've gone either way, in my opinion.
