why the rays ? they should of kept shields, they need more than longoria to succeed and compete in the east

I don't feel like they were going to be able to keep James Shields anyways. They were going to eventually lose him to free agency, so it only made since to trade him away now for some great prospects. For example, Will Myers could be really good.
