This contest will be for predicting how the 2011-2012 NFL playoffs will turn out.
It will run from now until kickoff of the first game of the 2011-2012 NFL playoffs, which is Saturday, January 7th at 4:30 PM EST.

To enter:
1. Download the official CMT 2011-2012 NFL Playoff Bracket.
2. Open it up with Paint, Word, or your preferred image editing software.
3. Fill in all red boxes with your predictions.
4. Post your filled-out bracket on this thread.

Sorry for the complicated (and kind of awkward) system...this needs to get out soon, and this seems to be the best way to do it.

Scoring:
Each correct Wild Card Playoffs pick will be worth one point.
Each correct Divisional Playoffs pick will be worth three points.
Each correct Conference Championship pick will be worth five points.
Correctly predicting the Super Bowl will be worth ten points.

Tiebreaker:
Along with your bracket, include in your post the total amount of points you think will be scored in Super Bowl XLVI. Whoever is the closest to the actual number wins.

Also include the total amount of points you think will be scored in the whole 2011-2012 playoffs. This will be the secondary tiebreaker, in case there is still a tie.

Prizes
There won't be any real prizes (unless CMT (or Ozzie) wants to have prizes (CMT cash, etc.) available for the winners), but the top three members will get a shout-out, as well as bragging rights.

Thank you, and good luck to everyone that enters!

Make sure people know that the bracket is semi wrong. For example if the lions win, they would play the packers, not the 49ers.

Yeah, that's what "highest remaining seed" and "lowest remaining seed" means. The Packers play the lowest remaining seed, so if the Lions win, they would be the lowest seed, making them play the Packers.

That's why I thought about doing it round-by-round...it's a kind of confusing setup.

Delete the post above me if you can, something went wrong so im just going to attach it. 45 in SB and about 500 in playoffs

Bump.

Come on guys, get your entries in. There's only a couple days left before the games start.

It will be more interesting if we have a couple more people enter.

Yeah, that kind of makes the playoffs lame. There are no underdog wild card teams this year flying through the playoffs pulling upsets left and right.
