I have always hated all the junk that is put on the news rack, who cares who dumped who or who got drunk last week. The less of these trash weekly magazines i see the more hope i have for society. it disgusts me that people are so involved with celebs yet if it was joe down the road they wouldn't care.

what is your opinion

I honestly never read these magazines and never will. Who cares if Kanye West is secretly dating Taylor Swift? (Didn't really happen, just throwing an example out there)
It is an invasion of privacy and I certainly wouldn't want some freak following me around.

I'm guessing most of you guys saw Justin Bieber flipping out at the paparazzi (a couple of times, actually). I think it's obviously too much attention, and I'm sure the celebrities who are being followed by cameras 24/7 would agree.

Half of what one reads there is mostly hyped or exaggerated. The celebrities themseves pay for spreading false rumours about them. I am not impressed

I share your sentiments. Gossip magazines and “news racks” are often filled with celebrity stories that have little impact on people’s lives. It’s content that sells because the public’s curiosity about celebrities’ lives is high. But it often neglects more important issues.
When society becomes increasingly focused on the drama of who dumped who or who got drunk, it becomes a distraction from real discussions about the economy, health, or the environment.

Varieties is the spice of life. We just need to embrace everything that makes the world beautiful not just one specific thing

I completely agree, and besides, this great world is surrounded by millions of beautiful things that it has to offer us.

That is power itself. There is no need to cling to just one thing when the world is full of so many beautiful things to enjoy every day. We must have the eyes to see and accept all of this.
