So, now that the final game in the NHL's regular season is finished, the playoff math-ups are all set! Here's what they look like.

Western Conference
#1: Vancouver Canucks
#8: Chicago Blackhawks

#2: San Jose Sharks
#7: Los Angeles Kings

#3: Detroit Red Wings
#6: Pheonix Coyotes

#4: Anaheim Ducks
#5: Nashville Predators

Eastern Confernce
#1: Washington Capitals
#8: New York Rangers

#2: Philadelphia Flyers
#7: Buffalo Sabres

#3: Boston Bruins
#6: Montreal Canadiens

#4: Pittsburgh Penguins
#5: Tampa Bay Lightning

---------------------------------------------------

So, predictions? At the beginning of the year I said that the Canadiens would do quite well. I don't think so anymore. They've been in a tad bit of a slump as of late, and I expect an early exit from them.
I don't see the Penguins going very far this year either, they're missing both Malkin and Crosby.
I believe that the Capitals will beat the Rangers handedly, but then get eliminated in the second round.
I also, see the Flyers eliminating the Sabres, and then going all the way to the Cup Final.

In the West, there is no doubt in my mind that the Canucks will eliminate the 'Hawks.
I don't, however, see the Sharks going very far this year, they almost almost choke in the playoffs, and I'm expecting the same this year.
The Red Wings will beat the Coyotes, and I see them going far.
The Ducks will beat the Predators, I'm confident. I think the Ducks will go to the Cup Finals this year.

Western Conference Champions: Anaheim Ducks
Eastern Conference Champions: Philadelphia Flyers.
Stanley Cup Champions: Philadelphia Flyers.

Canucks VS Hawks

Canadiens VS B's

The 2 series to watch in the first round.

Hawks will win the opener, and that'll get in the Canucks heads. Especially Luongo's. The rest is obvious.

Price will have a bad game, and the Habs fans will once again be relentless on him. The pressure is too much, again. It won't end pretty. B's take this series.

What else....

Rags beat Caps in 6. (depends how Lundqvist plays)

Bolts beat Pens in 5.

Flyers beat sabres in 6.

Sharks beat Kings in 4.

Ducks beat Preds in 5.

Wings beat Yotes in 4.
