Well the Divisional round is finished, and it was quite exciting. The Tigers upset the Yankees in 5 games, the Cardinals upset the Phillies in 5 games, the Brewers hit a walkoff to advance, and the Rangers handled the Rays pretty easily to advance.
Tigers vs Rangers: The Detroit Tigers advanced to the ALCS by beating the New York Yankees in 5 games. They played a great series, and were powered by Delmon Young, and their pitching staff. The Rangers advanced to the ALCS by beating the Rays in 4 games, and didn't have much trouble. The Tigers will be pitching Verlander in game 1 and will likely pitch in game 5 if necessary. My prediction: Tigers win series 4-2.
Cardinals vs Brewers: An NL Central matchup in the NLCS promises to be a good one. The Cardinals surprised the Phillies and beat them in 5 games. The Brewers hit a walkoff single over the Diamondbacks to advance. My prediction: Cardinals win series 4-3.
I expect the Championship round to be very close and it will contain a lot of close games. My World Series prediction now is Tigers over Cardinals.
