Mauer to start at 1st

Twins catcher, Joe Mauer will be starting at 1st base for the first time in his career tonight.

The reason is because the Twins management wants him to learn a less strenuous position so he won't get beat up so much and to not get hurt so much and risk a career-threatening injury.

I figured they'd either try him at 1st or in the outfield.

I'm excited to see how he does. Game against the White Sox tonight starts at 7:10 CT.

I would have to be ridiculously biased if I said that, but Mauer has done surprisingly well for his first ever time playing the position.

Why don't they just put him at DH. Well it doesn't matter, wherever he plays, he will stink.
