The best closer in MLB history is going to retire after this season with the New York Yankees. Rivera is mainly known for his postseason success as he has 42 saves in the playoffs and 5 world series titles. Rivera is absolutely a future Hall of Famer.

I figured this would happen. Didn't he say he going to retire last year, but didn't because of injuries?

I'm surprised he's still playing.

He's a definite Hall of Famer, unless he... oh, I dunno- bets on his team. :P

That's what happens whenever you get involved with the Reds :P

He's one of the best closers ever. Even as a Rays fan, I have a lot of respect for this guy. He is a hall of famer, no doubt.
