Marcus Camby is returning to New York, while the Houston Rockets continue to reshape their roster.

The 38-year-old Camby agreed Monday to rejoin the Knicks in a deal that sends three players and two second-round draft picks to Houston, according to a person with direct knowledge of the move.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because neither team has announced the trade.

Yahoo Sports reported that Camby's deal was for three years and $13.2 million.

The Rockets will get guard Toney Douglas, centers Josh Harrelson and Jerome Jordan and second-round picks in 2014 and `15.

He's getting old, but looking at his statistics, he did alright with the Rockets last season. Another veteran leader for the Knicks. It seems almost impossible for the Knicks to be bad next season, but I think they'll find a way. Jason Kidd, Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler, Marcus Camby, and J.R. Smith. Baron Davis's career may be over after that injury in the playoffs last season and the Knicks may lose Jeremy Lin to free agency, but they should be contenders next season.

The Knicks have a ton of bad contracts. They overpaying almost everyone on their team.

They'll be good the next few years, but bad contracts will catch up with them.

They are not overpaying everyone.. Tyson Chandler, Carmelo Anthony, and Amar'e Stoudemire all deserve what they are getting paid..

Carmelo Anthony is making about two million more than Kevin Durant, about three million more than Derrick Rose, and about one million more than LeBron James (though LeBron James did agree to take a pay cut when he went to Miami). I don't think Carmelo should be making more than Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, or LeBron James. Carmelo is an all-star, but he's not on my top five list, yet he's making more than all of them except for Kobe Bryant. Anyways, it's not just the way they are spending their money. They are trying to compete with what Miami has created, but the players aren't taking the proper pay cuts to make it happen.

Amar'e Stoudemire made more than Dwight Howard last season. Do you think he's better than Dwight Howard? No.

Actually i do agree with Carmelo making a lot of money, mainly because it is New York. You have to remember that. Carmelo should be making more than Derrick Rose but not more than Lebron or Kevin Durant. Amar'e is actually (overall-wise) better than Dwight Howard, but the last few seasons he has not been doing so good.
