Which one do you prefer? Why?

Personally, I prefer laptop for work. It's more comfortable and it can be moved anywhere I go.
Desktop is also good, but only for gamers. I have a desktop for playing games.

I prefer a desktop. I find it more comfortable, since I always end up shifting around endlessly when I use a laptop. :P

laptop is good for school and travel, but they slow down quicker than desktops.

Desktops are much easier to replace components since you can usually buy just one piece and in around an hour (usually less time) have it fixed. Laptops are more of a pain and more expensive to fix, often having to be sent off to be repaired.

Overall if I don't have to be on the go I want a desktop, they preform better and are cheaper to maintain in the long run.

I used to have a desktop for so long it's great to now own a laptop. I mean a laptop is so easy to move around and easier to use as you don't have to worry about wire after wire cord after cord etc. Also a laptop is easier to get fixed than a desktop.

Due to sheer lack of space. I prefer a laptop. I use a "Desktop replacement" laptop for my every day driver though. It's a 17" full HD 1920x1080 display. Asus G75VW. I love it. It's pretty powerful and handles everything I've thrown at it so far without breaking a sweat. :) It's a little pricey since it's a laptop, but I'm happy with it. I've had it for almost a year with little to no issues. :)

I have always been a fan of laptop, although I use both laptop and desktop computer.

If I have to choose one, it will definitely be laptop.

I prefer a laptop because it's more portable. I move my laptop around a lot since I spend the week at school and then go home for the weekends, and then my parents are separated so I split my time between the two houses. A desktop wouldn't work for me because I'd need three, and even then wouldn't be able to take it to class.

I prefer laptop because I keep on moving around wherever I am comfortable. Also, as a teacher, the portability of gadgets is very important, so I consider a laptop as my buddy. Though I'm a gamer, I do not use my laptop entirely for games, so I don't mind sticking with it for the rest of my life.

Desktop. It has been with me for years although I have replaed parts off and on. I will not trade it for anything else
