Jaguars release Garrard

Today the Jaguars released QB David Garrard. I'm not really sure why they did this. Luke McCown will be the starter this year.

I really don't understand this at all. Do you?
 
Not sure why they would do this...they must see something in McCown that we don't....

I thought Garrard was alot better than McCown....
 
I didn't expect this, but I'm not that surprised. Well, I am surprised that they are just now doing this. I think they should have done it a couple weeks ago if they were planning it. The Jaguars have not been successful as of late though, they needed some kind of change, even if it's a change in the position that isn't as lacking in skill as all the other positions. This change sort of shows fans of the Jaguars that they're still in it to win it, and fans aren't wasting their time cheering for them. :P
 
Wow I was surprised by this maybe the Seahawks should sign him to be their starter now. What happened to Blaine Gabbert?
 
Crazy, he was one of my starters in another fantasy football last year, I don't even know who McCown is.
