Entitled friends believe they deserve special treatment, privileges, or rewards without having to earned them. They believe that you and the world owes them. They expect you to fulfill their desires,, and your rules should not apply to them. How do you deal with such friends?

That really is hard, when you give so much consistently, granted that we do it unconditionally just from the goodness of our hearts and yet seem to get nothing in return but sometimes we do miss those little things that they do back we just miss them, people have different ways of doing things.

When these friends feel entitled, I keep my boundaries straight. When I see that they want special treatment for no reason and they don't want to follow my rules, I limit their access. I show them respect but I don't give them the opportunity to use me. When I see that they don't change, I take my energy away from them. My mental health and that of my family are my priority and must remain safe.

Definitely, it's seems blocking them off or giving them space would be the way to go as they are not serving any good purpose in your life

I have a different definition of friends with benefits. For me, friends with benefits are friends who have sex but without a romantic relationship. For example, a man might have a female friend with benefits with whom he has sex, but they aren't committed to being a couple; they just have sex. To me, that's friends with benefits. I see we have different terms for this.

I was more about friends that feels you should always help them all the time or else they lose their cool and the friendship

I don't keep people that are entitled as friends. I always deliberately cut them off my life as soon as possible. They would always guilt trip and gaslight one.

I like your policy. There is no need to keep parasites in your friends' circle.
You do well to safeguard your emotional and mental welfare.
