On Friday afternoon, Richard Deitsch of SI.com reported that Erin Andrews was being "aggressively" pursued by Fox Sports and the two sides had even met recently to discuss a role.

We're assuming ESPN saw that report because shortly after the story posted, ESPN PR tweeted out confirmation that Andrews is leaving.

Her contract was set to expire at the end of this month.

If she ends up agreeing to a deal with Fox Sports, it's expected to be a "major role" in their college football coverage, according to Deitsch.

Part of me died when I read the article. For real... :P

It's also interesting that this was announced three days before her stalker is set to be released from jail, if you guys remember that incident in 2008.

Beadle was awesome! At least the girl who replaced her on Sports Nation is pretty good too.

ESPN should hire Kate Beirness from TSN. She's awesome.

I still watch it. Colin is easily the funniest member of the entire ESPN crew of analysts.
I don't like Colin because he hates hockey and loves the Heat...
 
I used to watch SportsNation every single day after school a couple years ago, but stopped watching a while ago. I didn't know Beadle left until Cmt posted that.
