NCAAB Conference Tournaments start this week with Selection Sunday coming up this Sunday. The biggest tournaments will likely be the Big Ten and the Big East tournament since both conferences have multiple teams that have the potential to go far this season. There has been a lot of upsets this season, so who knows what these tournaments have in store for us. All tournament chat for this week can take place in this thread.

If Iowa can beat Northwestern in the first round and then win at least one more game in the Big Ten Tournament, I think they're into the NCAA Tournament.

My prediction to win the tournament is Michigan, though.

Vanderbilt plays Arkansas tonight in the first round of the SEC tournament. I am hoping for a miracle, as we have to win the SEC tournament if we are going to get in this season. We won't even make it in the NIT, at this point. :P

Syracuse almost let Pittsburgh come back on them, but they won, 62-59, in what will almost definitely be the last Big East meeting between the two teams heading to the ACC next season.

Penn St. led Michigan 14-3 right in the early going, but the Wolverines were able to handily come back and win, 83-66.

Iowa St. was able to rally in the 2nd half and get the come-from-behind victory over Oklahoma, 73-66.

Vanderbilt plays Kentucky tonight. It would be amazing if we managed to pull out the victory. I am hoping for the best. :D

Kentucky isn't nearly at the level they were last year. Still a big accomplishment though.

Not only that, Kentucky lost Nerlens Noel for the season when he tore his ACL, and he was their best player. It should be noted that Vanderbilt isn't on the same level either. All of our starters were seniors last year, so our lineup is completely different than the one that won the SEC tournament. Vanderbilt was one of I believe two teams that beat Kentucky last season. Indiana had that huge buzzer beater win in the regular season, and Vanderbilt came away with the upset over Kentucky in the SEC tournament championship game. After that, Kentucky rode on to the Final Four and won the national championship.

So yeah, Vandy has an awful basketball team now. They are lucky to have a 15-16 record right now. We lost John Jenkins, Jeffery Taylor, and Festus Ezeli to the NBA. Kentucky lost players as well, but that is normal for them. They recruit enough top prospects for it to be okay for players like Anthony Davis to pull a "one and done" and just play college basketball during their freshman year.
