So, I know most people here don't know much about the CFL (ore really care. :P) But I'd like to make a thread about this anyways. The West and East semi-finals are on today, with the West and East finals, next week. The Grey Cup would then be two weeks from now.
In the Eastern semi, the Hamilton Tiger Cats (8-10) Are in Montreal to face the Allouettes (10-8). The Winnipeg Blue Bombers (10-8) finished first in the East, so they get a bye to the Eastern final, and will play the winner of today's game. The semi is currently underway, and the Allouettes are winning 13-10 at the beginning of the second quarter.
The West semi final will be later today, and the Edmonton Eskimoes (11-7) are hosting the Calgary Stampeders (11-7). The Eskimoes beat the Stamps in the season series, which is why they're the home team. The BC Lions (11-7) beat the Esks and the Stamps in the season series, so they get a bye to the West Final.
EDIT; The Ti Cats are now winning 27-16, about halfway through the third quarter.
I'm going to the West semi final in about fifteen minutes. Can't wait! :D
