Former all-star outfielder, Mike Cameron, who won 3 Gold Gloves in his 17-year career, has announced his retirement.

Cameron hit for an average of .249 in his career, with 278 HRs and 968 RBIs over his career, in which he played for eight MLB teams.

The 39-year old signed a minor league contract with the Nationals in December and was thought by some to be a potential starter in the Nat's outfield this season.
 
He's definitely not a hall of famer, but he was a decent player. He's also known for being really good to the fans signing autographs and stuff.
 
One of my favorite Mariners and such an exciting player to watch those days. He had a great career and I wish him well.
 
Yeah, not a hall of famer, but I remember I had an amazing game with him on MLB 2k9 one time where I had like a HR, 6 RBI, 3 stolen bases, and a homerun saving catch.

So he's cool.
 
He was one of my favorites when he was a member of the Mets although that was short lived because of the collision with Carlos Beltran. A great player and I wish him well in whatever he does in the future.
 
Probably not a Hall of Famer. But a fun and sweet player to watch.
