Grading the Broncos’ 2025 draft class

NCAA Football: Cincinnati at Central Florida

Mike Watters-Imagn Images

Here’s how we grade the Denver Broncos 2025 NFL Draft class. They picked seven players over the three event.

Draft weekend has finally concluded and we’re here to give you our draft grades for the Denver Broncos 2025 draft class. I think we all acknowledge that these grades are pretty meaningless considering none of these players have taken a single NFL snap, but that’s just what we prognosticators and draft nuts do the day after the draft concludes.

Personally, this draft went nowhere close to where I expected it from Sean Payton and George Paton. They kept us on our toes with four total trades and picks that no one expected. However, I think I’d still give them an overall ‘B’ grade for this draft class. The hit the needs they needed to hit and they secured some great value players at already strong position groups.

Here is where everyone else at Mile High Report landed on draft weekend:

Grade: A

I give the Broncos an A for this draft. I think they got great value at all levels of the draft based on who they got and how they fit with the team (because I largely don’t care about the draft boards the unclean masses use). I can see a vision for each player the Broncos picked up. I think they have some starting talent, special teams players, and developmental guys with their picks, which makes sense for our roster as it stands today. The Broncos also masterfully worked the draft making multiple trades and gaining value at the end of the day. George Paton and Sean Payton knocked it out of the park. - Sadaraine

Grade: A+

A+. Draft grades are dumb and judging a draft before the players even take part in a practice with the team never made sense to me. They got themselves a talented corner, an explosive runner, a WR who fits the scheme, two developmental defensive players, the best punter in the draft, and a freaky TE prospect to end the draft.Nobody knows anything. Let’s hope for the best. A+. - Scotty Payne

Grade: C

The Broncos came out of the 2025 NFL Draft by addressing both immediate and long-term needs. We won’t know the true value of this class until a few years down the road. I am a big fan of the Jahdae Barron, Sai’vion Jones, and Que Robinson selections. Those guys all have a shot to be really good players on defense. On offense, I can see the vision with RJ Harvey and Pat Bryant, though I felt they came off the board a little bit earlier than expected and would have preferred other players at the position.

I like that they took a punter as well, but I’m still scratching my head over the Caleb Lohner pick. There were a multitude of prospects with extensive collegiate experience and the Broncos decided to bet on the athletic upside of a former basketball player that caught four balls in one year of college football. I’m sure some fans will point to Julius Thomas or Antonio Gates as reasons for optimism, but I’ll pass on that Kool-Aid. - Chris Hart

Grade: B+

I like that they let the draft come to them at #20 and ended up with a guy they thought would be off the board by then. Corner wasn’t a big perceived need, but when you pair this pick the acquisitions of Greenlaw and Hufanga, their box coverage has gone from the biggest weakness on their defense to potentially a strength.

Day 2 I just wanted skill players for Bo and I’ll trust Sean Payton on the specifics. I do like that we can see clear Payton prototypes with a Kamara and Michael Thomas style players.

I’ll never turn down more pass rush talent being added to the stable and we’ll see on the punter and Lohner. Rounds 6 & 7 should be treated as secured UDFAs anyway, so not expecting much there.

Overall, I liked the trading around for better slotting and Paton got good value from the moves. They clearly targeted guys who were team captains with clear college production in the higher rounds, which I love.

These type of drafts won’t get a ton of fanfare compared to one where you draft a rookie of the year candidate, but these are the kind that pay off in a few years when contracts start coming due and you need a balanced roster with starters contributing on cheap deals. - Jeff Essary

Grade: B+

This might have been one of the most unexpected drafts that I can remember. Myself and most of Broncos Country were way off on who Denver would draft, but that’s not a bad thing. The Broncos made some sneaky good picks on Day 2 and they rounded things out nicely on Day 3. Payton and Paton were cooking with some savvy moves to gain some extra capital. While I wish they drafted an offensive lineman late, they’ve been signing a bunch in free agency. And I hope that the scouts are right about Jones being able to play the interior as well.

I’m really excited to get to rookie minicamp and then the season to see what these dudes can do. This defense has tons of potential. - Ross Allen

Broncos UDFA Tracker: Undrafted free agent signings 2025

Tracking all of the undrafted college free agent rumors and reports tied to the Denver Broncos.

Now that the 2025 NFL Draft has concluded, the Denver Broncos will begin working on adding undrafted free agents. These players were not selected during the draft but are now free to sign with all 32 NFL teams. The Broncos finished the draft with a total of seven draft picks and will now look to add to their class with these signings.

The Broncos have been able to find undrafted free-agent gems in the past, most notably cornerback Chris Harris Jr. and wide receiver Rod Smith. Both players would go on to be key members of multiple Super Bowl teams and go down as some of the best Denver Broncos players ever.

In recent years, we have seen Jaleel McLaughlin, Nate Adkins, Alex Palczewski, Ja’Quan McMillian, Frank Crum, Levelly Bailey, and others make the roster, be key members of the roster, and even starters. Will we see any of these undrafted free agents join this list? History tells us that we probably will.

This thread will be updated as these signings are reported unofficially and will be made official when the Broncos announce their signings.

Using DRAFTIQ draft scores to rank each team’s 2025 draft

NFL: Scouting Combine

Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

Using data how does the Bronco draft compare to other teams?

NFL and AWS used AI to put together a data-based way to rate college players in the draft using athleticism and productivity to give every player a score from 50-100. The draft score is mostly based on production with a 2:1 weighting to athleticism (production:athleticism 2:1). There were 327 players graded for this draft and 232 of those were drafted. The Broncos drafted three players that were not given a draft score: Que Robinson, Jeremy Crawshaw, and Trent Lohner. Robinson only played 400 non-special teams snaps in his college career. Crawshaw was part of a group that did not get ranked - punters, and Lohner played so little that he was not on any draft board that I saw.

That being said, if you look at just the four players that get a score and were drafted by the Broncos, the Broncos were ranked fourth behind the Seahawks, the Giants and the Browns.

The average for the Bronco draftees was 77.3. The Browns 80.3 was the best. All seven of the Browns draftees got a draft score. Like the Broncos, the Seahawks drafted three players who did not have a score, as did the Raiders. I ran the numbers with and without the guys with a draft score. For the guys who did not have a score, I gave them a score of 50, which is the lowest possible. Doing that drops the Broncos average from 4th to dead last, from 77.3 down to 65.6.

Without factoring in the guys with no draft score, the Dolphins had the worst draft, but they move up to 29th with the unscored guys being factored in (final column on the right in the table above).

The rest of the AFC West draft (removing unscored guys) is shown below. The Chiefs got their highest graded player with the 133rd pick, but the Chargers and the Faiders got their highest scored player with their first picks. KC was desperate for OL talent in a year with limited OT and IOL talent. Simmons was the fifth OT picked in the 2025 draft (another draft where the Broncos failed to pick a single OT - nine years in a row).

There were 23 tackles drafted with the last one being taken with the 250th pick the draft by Green Bay, John Williams (not the composer) from Cincinnati.

Denver Broncos post-draft depth chart

Syndication: Asbury Park Press

Ricardo B. Brazziell/American-St / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Taking a look at the Denver Broncos depth chart after the 2025 NFL Draft.

The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and the Broncos have a fresh crop of draft picks and undrafted rookies joining their roster. Due to this, their depth chart looks a bit different than it did a week ago, now that they have added 20+ new players to their roster.

So, with all that said, let us take a look at the Broncos' projected depth chart coming out of the draft.

Note: I used Ourlads.com as a reference for this since the Broncos do not have an official depth chart currently.

Notes

  • Second-round pick R.J. Harvey instantly slides into the starting role for the Broncos. After him, we’ll have to wait and see on the pecking order. Audric Estime is really the only between-the-tackles power back they have on the roster, and Harvey basically replaces McLaughlin’s role on offense. The other question is, will the Broncos add a veteran to this backfield? J.K. Dobbins and Nick Chubb are still free agents, and veterans could be available for trade after the draft.
  • Third-round pick Pat Bryant has an opportunity to have a big role on offense in his rookie year. They felt highly enough of him to select him on day two with Vele and Franklin on the roster, and they have Lil’Jordan Humphrey’s 50% snap share to replace.
  • After Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims, Pat Bryant, Devaughn Vele, Troy Franklin, and Trent Sherfield, there are not many roster spots available for the rest of the receivers on the roster.
  • The Broncos did not draft an offensive lineman, but UDFA’s Xavier Truss, Clay Webb, and Joe Michalski have a chance to push Alex Forsyth, Calvin Throckmorton, and Nick Gargiulo for a roster spot or a spot on the practice squad.
  • Tight end remains surprisingly mostly unchanged outside of 7th-round pick Caleb Lohner, who has played one year of football and appears to be a long-term project. His development will be something to watch as we progress through the summer.
  • There are very few starting roles and even roster spots up for grabs on offense. The pecking order at RB and WR will be interesting, and the backup OL battle, but outside of that, you can probably pencil in the starters and most of the backups here.

Notes

  • Broncos first-round pick CB Jahdae Barron instantly slides into the starting slot cornerback spot ahead of Ja’Quan McMillian. It remains to be seen how he and Moss will align come week one, but for now, Barron is in the slot and Moss is on the outside.
  • How things shake out with McMillian, Kris Abrams-Draine, Dammari Mathis, and the rest of the Broncos' corners will be interesting to watch as we progress through the offseason and into training camp.
  • Third-round pick Sai’vion Jones will slide into the defensive line rotation ahead of Jordan Jackson and Eyioma Uwazurike. He is a fun height/weight/length/athleticism combo with some potential, so his development will be fun to watch as we progress through the summer.
  • Fourth-round pick Que Robinson will slide in as the Broncos' 5th edge rusher behind Bonitto, Cooper, Eliss, and Tillman. This will help with his development, and we’ll see how much he can contribute throughout his rookie year.
  • The linebacker spot is probably the position with the most uncertainty moving forward. Greenlaw and Singleton are coming back from injury, and we’ll have to see how they look and if they can stay healthy. Drew Sanders is a bit of a wildcard here. This is his first full offseason in his NFL career, and he’s at a make-or-break point for his career. Strnad is locked in as a special-teams ace, and we’ll have to see if the rest can push for a roster spot or not.
  • The safety position is another interesting one. Brandon Jones and Talanoa Hufanga are locked in as your starters, with P.J. Locke likely as your main backup. Sam Franklin is a special-teams ace, while the rest are all on the roster bubble or currently on the outside looking in.
  • There are not many, if any at all, starting spots up for grabs right now on defense. Your D-line, edge rusher, corners, and safeties are all penciled in right now. You can make a case that Sanders could push Singleton, but that’s about it. Most of your backups/reserves are set in stone, too, but those final few roster spots could be pretty competitive.

Special Teams

Kicker: Wil Lutz

Punter: Jeremy Crawshaw and Matt Haack

Kick/Punt Returner: Marvin Mims

Longsnapper: Mitchell Fraboni and Zach Triner

Notes

  • The Broncos spent a 6th-round pick on punter Jeremy Crawshaw, and he is the heavy favorite to be the Broncos' punter. He was viewed as the top punter in the draft, and his competition is journeyman Matt Haack, who has not been a full-time punter in a few years. The writing is on the wall here.

Broncos first two picks considered ‘draft steals’ by ESPN insider

Syndication: Green Bay Press-Gazette

Tork Mason / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The Denver Broncos got two impact players with their first and second round picks. Not every impact player is a ‘draft steal’ but it would appear they got that as well.

The Denver Broncos surprised many with their approach to the 2025 NFL Draft, but as the national media goes over its post-draft analysis there seems to be some consensus that the Broncos draft class is pretty darn good. Already this week, Todd McShay sang his praises of their draft and Mike Silver shared some news how the Jacksonville Jaguars were pissed over how Denver drafted on Day 2.

Now we have Matt Miller from ESPN sharing his Top 100 ‘draft steals’ and each of the Broncos first two picks made the list. Jahdae Barron made the list first as the 15th biggest draft steal on Miller’s list.

15. Jahdae Barron, CB, Denver Broncos (Pick 1-20)

My final overall ranking: No. 11

The Broncos’ secondary is absolutely loaded after getting my No. 11 player with the No. 20 pick. Barron’s versatility is impressive, as he spent significant time at corner, slot corner and safety at Texas. He won the Jim Thorpe Award in 2024 and brings experience, playmaking ability and great tackling skills to a Denver secondary that already has Pat Surtain II.

Barron was largely considered a Top 10 pick by most, so for him to be sitting there on the board when the Broncos picked in the latter half of the first round became a no-brainer for Sean Payton and George Paton. Pairing him with Pat Surtain II should give the rookie an opportunity to accel early in his career.

Barron has a ton of confidence coming to play opposite Pat Surtain and as well he should.

“Again my preparation, and then the Broncos staff,” Barron said in his post-selection press conference. “I know they’re going to prepare me right. I know they’re going to make sure I’m ready to go just from film-wise. My preparation, how I see things at this next level, how I’m communicating with my teammates. At the end of the day, it’s my confidence. I get my confidence from God. I go out there with no worries. I’m going to go out there and play fast. I’m glorifying Him. So if I’m glorifying Him, I can do that all day, and I can do that fast, not worried about making mistakes and things like that. Just to honor him. When you honor him and just be a lightning bolt for him and just be his servant, it’s always good.

With Surtain, Barron, and Riley moss, the Broncos could end up with the best coverage secondary in the NFL. This defense is looking so good.

Miller also had RJ Harvey on his list as the 60th biggest steal, which coincided with his actual draft spot.

60. RJ Harvey, RB, Denver Broncos (Pick 2-60)

My final overall ranking: No. 78

Harvey was one of my sleepers in the predraft process, and I expected he would be drafted in Round 3 or 4. The Broncos jumped the line by taking Harvey in Round 2. But his ability to finish runs and make a difference as a receiver reminds me of Bucky Irving coming out of college, and I like this pick.

The more I look at this draft the more I love it. Harvey is the home run threat the backfield was sorely missing last season. There are still concerns there with the every-down situation, but we’ll have to see what the team does from here. As for Harvey, he is already locked in.

“I’m extremely excited,” Harvey said after being drafted. “I’m ready to get to work right away, get in there and put my head down and just showcase all my skills to all of my teammates and my coaches. My main goal is to come in there and do whatever I can to help Denver win, make the playoffs and get to the Super Bowl. I want to be a big part of that, a big reason why we make it that far in the playoffs and the Super Bowl. I’m just super excited for this opportunity.”

The Broncos went hard after guys with huge upside and outstanding leadership traits. The word ‘character’ will be used a lot, but that is coming from the obvious traits of leadership each of these young kids have and they haven’t even played an NFL snap. I love that. Every team has leaders, but those with leadership traits tend to be self-starters and hard workers at their craft. They are always looking to get better, make the team better, and win.

It was a long road after Super Bowl 50, but the Denver Broncos are finally on the ascent once more.

Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga is a big fan of QB Bo Nix

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos

Isaiah J. Downing-Imagn Images

The newly signed safety is a big fan of the Broncos' starting quarterback.

DNVR’s Bennie Fowler recently interviewed Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga, and he had some interesting things to say about quarterback Bo Nix, why he signed with the team, and rookie cornerback Jahdae Barron.

Talanoa Hufanga is a BIG fan of Bo Nix:

“When you got a quarterback that can go out there and really play, as a defense, you know it’s not just three and out. So for us, it’s like, We got potential here. Why can’t we come over here and help change. He’s the reason." pic.twitter.com/iRN8MO4orL

— DNVR Broncos (@DNVR_Broncos) May 1, 2025

Hufanga told Fowler that Bo Nix reached out immediately after he signed with the Broncos and was able to meet with him on the day he signed his contract. He called Nix a “gamer,” and he wanted to come here and help be part of the change because of Bo Nix. His work ethic and leadership have changed the atmosphere around the team, and Hufanga is ready to work with him and “go the distance”.

Sean Payton and the Broncos really did hit a home run with Nix. He is the franchise quarterback the team has been lacking since Peyton Manning retired. Not only has his play on the field been great, but his leadership and work ethic are changing the atmosphere around the team, and now players are wanting to join the contending team the Broncos are building in Denver.

Hufanaga also touched on Broncos' first-round pick, cornerback Jahdae Barron. He told Fowler that Barron’s character really stood out to him, and that his maturity really stood out to him when he met him.

Barron’s character and maturity have been mentioned multiple times since the Broncos drafted him. We know about the story where he asked to be put on speaker phone to thank the entire room for drafting him, but it goes deeper than that. He is going to go about things the right way, be a team leader, and not only a stud on the field, but off the field as well. The Broncos have continued to add team captains and high-character players to the roster, and positive results are showing.

With Sean Payton and George Paton running the show, the Broncos Ownership Group willing to spend to make the team great, and quarterback Bo Nix becoming a star in the making, the Broncos are once again a draw for veteran players. This was the case for safety Talanoa Hufanga, who told Bennie Fowler that he told Sean Payton, “Let’s do whatever it takes to win. I really want to be there” during the legal tampering period back in March.

The veteran safety would go on to sign a three-year deal with the Broncos and have his All-Pro 49ers teammate Dre Greenlaw follow him to Denver. Add in tight end Evan Engram, draft picks Jahdae Barron, R.J. Harvey, and Pat Bryant joining an already talented roster, the Broncos could be on the verge of becoming a Super Bowl contending team.

This interview has me fired up over this Broncos team and I cannot wait to see him back on the field this upcoming season.

Reaches vs value picks in the 2025 draft - how did the Broncos do?

2025 NFL Draft - Rounds 2 & 3

Draft slot versus consensus big board by team for the whole 2025 draft

The consensus big board from the 2025 draft can be found here, with rankings 1-300. NextGen stats and AWS have their DRAFTIQ score, which I wrote quite a bit about prior to the draft.

Their rankings go from 50-100. NFL.com has their draft grades which range from 5.50-8.0 (an odd scale to say the least). PFF grades/ranks their top 350 players in the draft.

I have compiled the rankings for the Denver Broncos draft class in 2025 and it is below.

So according to the consensus big board, the Broncos got value with Barron (PFF agrees) because he “should” have gone earlier in the first round.

PFF thinks Denver took Harvey a little early, and the big board thinks they took him a round too soon. Both sources think Bryant was taken two rounds before necessary. Denver got its next two picks at about where both thought they should go.

I flipped the X and Y axis for the PFF grading. Below is the Bronco Draftees. Distance from the line is reach vs value level. So note that reach is above and value is below in this one.

If we analyze how every team did in the draft, the values are in the table below. The Broncos reached quite a bit according to the big board, but much of this is from the day 3 picks who didn’t show up on the top 300 consensus big board.

It hurts to see KC ranked so highly here but according to the consensus big board, they absolutely killed it on day 3 finding value with Jalen Royals, Jeffrey Bassa and Brashard Smith. All three fell from where most thought that they would be drafted, with Smith having the biggest fall. He was taken 228th, and he was consensus 142nd.

In fact Smith was one of the biggest “value” picks in the 2025 draft.

The Broncos had none of these picks, they did however have some of the biggest “reaches” in the draft based on this metric.

You’ll note that most of these guys did not rank in the top 300 on the consensus big board. So I assigned them a value of 301. If we looked at the guys who were on the board, Pat Bryant shows up as the 11th biggest reach in the draft behind:

  1. Arian Smith
  2. Jaylin Smith
  3. Nick Martin
  4. Justin Walley
  5. Francisco Mauigoa
  6. Isaac TeSlaa
  7. Chimere Dike
  8. Marcus Harris
  9. Jason Marshall
  10. Craig Woodson

The only team with two massive “reaches” on this list is the Titans, who reached 100 and 95 spots to get Chimera Dike and Marcus Harris.

CHJ: Addition of Jahdae Barron brings competition to the Broncos secondary

Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic - Ohio State v Texas

Chris Harris Jr. obviously loves the addition of Jahdae Barron. Here’s what he has had to say about the addition.

It’s always nice to have a Denver Broncos legend chime in on a rookie who plays the same position they did. Chris Harris Jr. is the logical choice to interview to talk about how Jahdae Barron might fit in with the unit. On the Up & Adams show, he talked about the fit and what we might expect from the unit as a whole this season.

Is there a DB position competition brewing in Denver?

Chris Harris Jr. sees the addition of Jahdae Barron to the Broncos secondary as a sign of a competitive DB room.@heykayadams | @ChrisHarrisJr | @Broncos pic.twitter.com/JwzKg57FR4

— Up & Adams (@UpAndAdamsShow) May 6, 2025

Harris leaned into his own experience as a sophomore heading into his second season. At the time, the Broncos brought in a slew of guys to compete and Harris had to fight his way for playing time. We all know how that worked out as CHJ is remembered as one of the greatest cornerbacks in Broncos history.

The addition of Barron creates some unique competition. Competition between Barron and Riley Moss and between Barron and Ja’Quan McMillian. That could, in turn, lead to competition between Moss and McMillian. The outcome is likely to be a pretty damn good secondary with quality depth for the first time in years.

In a perfect world, we see Barron mostly inside who can swing outside depending on matchups. The versatility he will provide the back end of the defense is going to make a huge difference in many games. That is why you take the best damn player you can find in the first round — especially when it comes to a premium position group like cornerback.

Report: Running back Chris Evans will try out for the Broncos during their rookie minicamp

NFL: OCT 15 Seahawks at Bengals

The veteran running back is coming off a season-ending injury but will try out for the Broncos in hopes of cracking their 90-man roster.

According to a report from NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, former Bengals running back Chris Evans will participate in the Broncos' rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

Former #Bengals RB Chris Evans will participate in #Broncos rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

A sixth-round pick out of Michigan in 2021, Evans appeared in 34 games over his first three seasons in Cincinnati before missing 2024 with a ruptured patella tendon. He's full-go now.

— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) April 28, 2025

Evans was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft after a productive career at Michigan. He would play for the Bengals from 2021 through the 2024 season while totaling 89 rushing yards and 19 receptions for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns. Unfortunately, Evans suffered a torn patellar tendon during a Bengals training camp practice last August and missed the entire 2024 season. Now, with him fully recovered from that injury, he’ll look to crack the Broncos' 90-man roster with this tryout during their rookie minicamp this weekend.

The Broncos are likely an attractive tryout spot for running backs due to the uncertainty with their room currently. They did select running back RJ Harvey in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and he figures to be a big part of the offense this upcoming season, but after him, things become more uncertain.

The roles of Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin are uncertain at this point and time and players like Tyler Badie and Blake Watson will be pushing for a roster spot as well. So, if Evans impresses during this tryout, he could have a shot to compete for a roster spot on the Broncos roster.

With that said, Evans has been fairly unproductive during his time in the league. He has just one start, which came during his rookie year, and has only 19 career rushing attempts for 89 yards. He has been productive as a pass catcher, which could be appealing to Payton and the Broncos, but I am not sure if he offers anything more than the current backs on the roster.

Evans will join veteran quarterback Desmond Ridder as a veteran tryout during this weekend’s rookie minicamp. We shall see if either player impresses enough to crack the Broncos' 90-man roster after the practices this weekend.

CHJ thinks Bo Nix will be a big recruiter for Broncos

AFC Wild Card Playoffs: Denver Broncos v Buffalo Bills

The Denver Broncos may have their next Peyton Manning. At least in terms of how well Bo Nix will be able to recruit players to come to Denver.

The times are changing in Denver. After a decade searching for a way back to relevance, the Denver Broncos have finally found that with Bo Nix under center. The NFL is a quarterback-driven league and if you don’t have one, you’re not relevant. It’s nice to see our team relevant again.

Earlier this week on the Up & Adams Show, they interviewed Broncos’ legend Chris Harris Jr. He talked a lot about the Broncos — from what the addition of Jahdae Barron brings to the table to what Bo Nix means for the franchise. On the latter, he feels like players are going to flock to the franchise just to be a part of what is happening there with Nix and Sean Payton.

Chris Harris Jr. believes Bo Nix is a big recruiter for the Broncos: "Everyone wants to be a part of it..."

...just like how Peyton Manning was.@heykayadams | @ChrisHarrisJr pic.twitter.com/bUqSB4YKoS

— Up & Adams (@UpAndAdamsShow) May 6, 2025

“For this guy to come in, step in, make huge plays,” Harris said. “He can run, he can throw the deep ball, he can throw on the run. He just fits that new modern style of play. Guys love him. He’s a locker room guy. He hangs with the guys. He’s a guy that, you know, players want to be around. And we haven’t had a guy who has been a big recruiter (of players) since Peyton Manning.”

The dynamic around this franchise has shifted so quickly. I remember just a year ago the biggest concern was Bo Nix’s age. Well, he basically began playing like he already struggled through the first year or two in the league. The Broncos are contenders and already on the fringe of AFC powerhouse rankings.

After 10 years of struggles, its hard sometimes to retain clarity. I’ll be the first to admit I’m wearing and seeing through orange and blue colored glasses and I simply don’t care. Bring on the future!
