On the last day of the league that riddled with surprises through out, another bizarre turnaround has happen yet again. When it seems that this season will be the end of Spurs finishing below Arsenal for 21st time in a row, they managed to slip up yet again giving Arsenal the 2nd place on the last matchday. They lost 5-1 to an already relegated Newcastle United who were down to 10-men in second half. To make things even worse, 3 of Newcastle goals came from when they were down to 10-men. Meanwhile Arsenal won 4-0 against Aston Villa with a hattrick from Giroud, in an emotional send off to Mikel Arteta who'll be leaving the club. Meanwhile Tomas Rosicky who also will be leaving the club was presented with a silver cannon for his 10 years with the club.

I was watching the Arsenal game yesterday and following the Newcastle - Spurs game on the livescore app, and when I saw that Newcastle was down to 10 I was fearing the worst, then I go to eat a sandwich, come back and check my phone and now Newcastle is 3-1 up lol. At that point I was still nervous because, again, Newcastle had only 10 MEN, but I don't know what the hell happened next and they started scoring for fun. Still a bad season for my club but finishing above Tottenham makes it a little bit better.

Tottenham definitely showed their youth at the end of the season. They really let their emotions get the best of them and lost their composure and professionalism. Ultimately it was still a great season for them and they should be looking forward to next season. Arsenal ended the season strong which will again give their fans optimism for the next year, but we'll see if they can really pull it together and stay lucky for a whole season. I'd argue they look like one of the more stable teams going in to next year. With Man City changing managers, they might get off to a slow start. If Arsenal or Tottenham start the season well, the title might be theirs to win.

I dont even know how this happened. Spurs had an amazing season, just outstanding. But for some reason they just dont have it in them to win those really important games. The Chelsea game, at the end, was a very important game (yes, if spurs would have won they would have extended the race by only a week, but still it was a big game) and they completely bottled it. They gave up a 2-0 lead and ended that game 2-2 giving the title to Leicester.
Then, the chance every spurs fan has been waiting for 21 years, to finish above Arsenal. And what do they do? They blow it, completely. They really need to change something otherwise they can kiss a lot of trophies goodbye.

I thought they won the Cup since then?

The problem with arsenal is they always try to walk it in.
