See the latest news on your Columbus Blue Jackets.

It’s been a while since we’ve taken a look at what’s happening outside of Columbus. Denton Mateychuk and Luca Del Bel Belluz have made their way to the big time, and both have made an impact. Who could be next? Scott Wheeler of The Athletic recently ranked the Columbus prospect pool at number 6. 16-45-61 51 GP 2023-24 PPG: 0.85 2024-25 PPG: 1.20 Marrelli has exploded since his…

Teams representing the United States, Canada, Sweden, and Finland will compete in a round robin tournament over the next week, while the rest of the players in the league get a well-earned break. Action begins tonight in Montreal with Canada vs.

Despite playing the second half of a back-to-back, the Rangers came out with more energy. They struck first with a wrap-around goal from Arthur Kaliyev. Jordan Harris did a decent job catching up and marking Kaliyev as he came down the left side with speed, but Harris was unable to finish his check. He just bounced off, and Kaliyev was able to continue skating with speed behind the net.

After a thrilling debut to the tournament with Canada topping Sweden in OT, would the second match up live up to the excitement? Similar to what we saw in the first match up, the favored team came out with some extra energy. The US team moved the puck around well and created scoring chances and was rewarded with an early power play. The top unit of Eichel, Matthews, Guentzel, M. Tkachuk…

Looking for the series sweep against the Hockey Club formerly of Arizona. Perhaps because of a concern with Werenski’s health (I think Labanc kicked Evason’s dog), the Jackets opted to bring back the 11/7 configuration for tonight’s game. Things got off to a good start after Jordan Harris challenged for the puck on the offensive half wall and created a fortuitous puck bounce towards the…

The anticipation of this game had built up over the last nine years. On paper, this is the deepest team USA has ever had. Team Canada needs no introduction. The game did not disappoint. There were three fights in the first nine seconds. Two of them came before anyone touched the puck. It seemed like the roof may come off of the Bell Centre in Montreal. The fights favored Team…

The good news: This is the last game of a four game roadtrip and brutal eight-of-nine away stretch for the Jackets, and they’re playing the bottom-dwelling Buffalo Sabres. The bad news: The four most interesting players in this game, Zach Werenski, Tage Thompson, Sean Monahan, and Kirill Marchenko, were all injured and not playing in this game. A true Sickos classic. In their last game…

On Monday, the 4 Nations Face-Off relocated to Boston for the final three games. The action in Beantown began with a loser-go-home match between Canada and Finland. The Canadians jumped out to a 4-goal lead, but the Finns made things interesting with 3 goals in the third period, including two within 23 seconds in the final two minutes. A Sidney Crosby empty-netter sealed the victory for Canada…

Tonight the United States and Canada met for the championship of the 4 Nations Face-Off, in a rematch of an epic American win on Saturday night. The US was without injured defenseman Charlie McAvoy, but injured forwards Auston Matthews and Matthew and Brady Tkachuk returned. Kyle Connor was scratched so Chris Kreider could remain in the lineup. On the Canadian side, Cale Makar (who missed the…
