Bad News for Egyptian Soccer Fans

Egyptian soccer fans rampaged through the heart of Cairo on Saturday, furious about the acquittal of seven police officers while death sentences against 21 alleged rioters were confirmed in a trial over a stadium melee that left 74 people dead.

This never seems to end. :| It's clearly not what the sport is meant to be for... Real soccer fans would have a sense of respect for the game, and wouldn't resort to fatal/violent moves. This makes me sick.

I remember reading about this some weeks back when some of the rioters were prosecuted.

It's insane to think that the government may have started the violence in the stadium on purpose. Just a ridiculous situation all the way around.

Well to be honest in my opinion soccer is one of those sports that a lot of the fans are just there for the fight, food and drink. However riots usually don't get that bad here.

Fans should not go violent in stadiums. Anyone who acts violently in a stadium should be sent to jail.
