Atletico Madrid meets Real Madrid for UCL final in Milan

Atletico Madrid will meet Real Madrid in the UCL final for the second time in three seasons. Atletico Madrid edged Bayern Munich on away goal difference after scoring a goal at the Allianz Arena where they lost 2-1 during the second leg. However their 1-0 win at home was enough to help them see through Bayern Munich to reach the final. Real Madrid beat Man City 1-0 in the second leg after a goalless first leg. It was an own goal by Fernando, who deflected in a low cross from Bale. The final will be held on May 28 at the San Siro Stadium.

So who's your pick to win the match?
 
I hope that Atletico will win. I really do not care about any of these two but I have to say I haven't seen a lot of teams to have discipline like Atletico. They are fighters and I really like the way they play the game. They are the ultimate football team for me and I stress TEAM. They play for each other like the musketeers fought for each other. One for all and all for one. I am going to support them and even put some money on the win. I like the fact that they managed to stay the stay team after having some of the best players leaving them in past few years. They play constantly good and you cannot make a choice weather this is because of some players, the whole team or the great manager. I think that it is all combined but the last one maybe most important of all. Diego Simeone is simply amazing. I bet that the same team with some other, any other coach would not achieve things he did because these are not the stars like Real, Barca, Bayern and even Chelsea and PSG possess.
 
Athletico are the underdogs again, but this time I'm sure they're determined more than ever before to win what should've been theirs in Lisbon two years ago. They have a stronger team now, Simeone has gained more experience over the years and above all, morale seems high.
That's enough for me to be on Athletico!

I agree with you and as I said I would really like Atletico to win but even though they are underdogs I believe they have the stats to beat Real. Atletico reminds me of Chelsea several years ago when they were just strong in tackles, in duels, jumping. Everything actually. I really think that they are going to bully Real Madrid in the final. I think red cards are a must in this game and I believe that one goal or penalties will decide and of course defending Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema.
 
Real Madrid are the clear favourites in my opinion, this Atletico side has the same defensive cohesion that they showed the last time they reached the final, but they lack the strength of a player like Diego Costa that gave them another dimension to their offensive game. Of course, there are many variable in place but in normal conditions, if Real Madrid scores first the game is over. Atletico has to score first and somehow manage to hold until the end, otherwise, it will be the same story as the last time when they were knackered on the last minutes of the match and in the extra time they got demolished.
