Does anyone here play tennis?

I usually play tennis a bit in the summer. This summer I'm getting lessons every monday evening. I really enjoy it, I wish it was more popular here. :( I'm pretty lucky to live a 20 minute walk from a tennis court. Anyone else play tennis?

I play tennis..not much but when I do it's fun! even though I suck at it lol. Are there any tennis clubs where you live you can join?

I am not very good at real life tennis, although I am quite great on Nintendo Wii.

I think tennis is a great sport.

I play tennis from time to time but I used to play it quite allot, I loved to go to the local courts and challenge random people. However a few idiots began turning up to the court each week and they would just hog the courts and mess around instead of playing the game, they also spoke in such a foul manor. I'd love to start it up again but I have a few injuries that will stop me from doing so for a while..

If I had to pick a sport to play, it would definitely be tennis. I like tennis because it's not as hard on your body as other sports. It's also a sport where physical power isn't all that important. I occasionally play tennis with my mother when she can talk me into doing so. XD I also took a tennis PE course in college because my college required two PE courses. Tennis was the least undesirable of them all. XD

I'm quite interested in tennis but I don't think I'm capable to play it. I can play badminton but I don't quite play tennis since it looks like it needs quite an amount of strength from your arm. I have quiet a weak arm to be honest.

We have been messing around several years ago and as in all other sports expect water polo I was quite good. I actually managed to have a decent service and not just to hit the ball over the net so it was hard for my friend to beat me because of service and good flat backhand. A professional player told me I am talented but I am too old for tennis now and a bit short with my 173 cm. However I am very agile and quick on my foot. I really consider tennis to be one of the easiest sports to play. Imagine a player like let's say Goffin on the rugby pitch. They would kill him.

I love to play tennis. I'm not all that great but I used to have two friends close to my skill level that I would play with a few times a month. We had a blast and it was great exercise. However, I have moved away from those friends and no longer have anyone to play with. I wish I did because it was a lot of fun. Most of the parks where I live have tennis courts, some are better maintained than others, but they're all functional. Most of the time they are not very busy, unless there is a school team that is using them for practice. I would love to take lessons, but I don't know of anywhere offhand around here that offers them.

I used to play a lot in my teens and early 20's. Sadly then a full time job and adult life got in the way and I play rarely at most these days. I do still love to watch it when I can, though - I guess I live vicariously through the players now. I roughly keep track of the rankings and I've been to the Australian Open a couple of times since I live not too far from Melbourne, where the event is held every January.

I do miss playing it regularly though - it's a fun sport and definitely keeps you in good shape, I think.

I haven't played tennis in a long time myself but I used to play a lot when I was younger either at after school clubs or with friends at a tennis court we have near me. I do miss playing tennis but with health problems I have now I have to be super careful. I remember when I was younger around 7 years old I used to be part of a tennis after school club and I got a lot of certificates from doing that and really enjoyed it, would love for my kids to take something like that up after school however all they seem to offer now is football after school and not all my children have an interest in football.
