Have you guys ever played Ultimate Team, or Madden Social on Facebook? My site is Basketball Legends: A Forum-Based NBA Game.
It is an ultimate team style NBA game. There is a great community and I wondered if the two sites could affiliate. I think it is worth checking out.

1. My users (in 5 different countries), could come here.
2. You guys can check out my game.
3. It looks really official on the homepage. :)

What do you think of the site so far?

I still don't understand how this would work? It isn't in my power to require members to join this game. How would this be done? Would we both have an area for affiliates on the forum?

Yes, it is no requirement that members join my forum or vice-versa. Just a partnership between sites, and members have that option.

Alright, that interests me. How would this partnership be promoted? How would members be exposed to the option? :)

Being the Owner, I would post a sticky on my site, and you on this one saying we are now affiliates and to check out the forum if you please. Something along those lines.

Perhaps we could both have an Affiliates sub-board in the first board on our forum? Then we could have an advertisement topic for our affiliates. So, I would post an advertisement topic on here, and you would post an advertisement topic on there. It wouldn't have a sticky or anything, but it would display in the first board of the forum, so it would still get plenty of exposure, most likely.

Mine would be in the Announcements (weekly updates) section. How many members did your old forum have? Just curious.

I was thinking you could make a sub-board called "Affiliates" in your forum's "Weekly Updates" board. In this sub-board, you can post an advertisement topic of my forum. Then I can do the same on here. :)

The old Cmt Sports Forum closed with 735 members, but only a miniscule percentage was active.

Alright, still a lot of members. I only have 36 in 2 months, but from everywhere.

Alright, so would you like to do what I said?

If so, I am going to ask the staff members their opinion on this, and if they are down with it, we will do it. :)

That is one of our affiliate banners, yes. I would prefer it if you used that one, actually. The staff team has discussed this, and we have decided to do this. I have made the "Affiliates" sub-board. Please provide me with the advertisement topic you would like me to put in the "Affiliates" sub-board. I will then do the same, so you can then post the advertisement topic of my forum in your forum's "Affiliates" sub-board. You may add our affiliate banner on your forum if you like, but we will not be doing the same for you. We do not have an "Affiliates" table here at Cmt Sports Forum, and as of right now, we are not planning on getting one. How does that sound to you? :)

The affiliation system is now setup, and we are also affiliates with Basketball Legends now. Because of this, I feel like this topic has been solved. If you have any questions about affiliation, please send me a PM. :)

Thank you.
