Since there are a lot of threads being made on controversial topics (and they spark interesting debates),
what are your views on abortion?

I think it is wrong; you are killing a baby that has absolutely no control over anything.

Even with rape victims, they say everything happens for a reason, so it is wrong to murder an innocent infant.

It's not like pregnancy is a weird disease like cancer. You know how it happens, and it's completely preventable.

What's the point of killing a baby, when there are couples who would love to have a baby, but aren't capable of making one?

It's up to the woman, she should have the choice. It's in her body, she should do whatever it needs. If a child cannot be properly raised by the parent, what's the good of bringing it into the world and having it live a hard life?
 
I think what they should do is have the mom fill out a form and if they have a good enough reason as to why they're doing that then they should be allowed to. If not, then they shouldn't be allowed to kill the baby.

That is when adoption comes into play.

Um, if a baby has serious issues with it that will make it's life miserable abortion is right.

For instance, I know someone who was pregnant but had their baby tested before birth and it turned out it would have constant seizures, feet shaped like a rocking horse's legs, almost totally blind, several other deformities, and will only live to be around 2 years old.

Abortion is totally acceptable in some cases but shouldn't be used as birth control.

I'm totally against abortion, it's murder.

2. What do you think the baby thinks? This is just a total guess to me, but I'm guessing that the baby wants to live too. Pro-choice should apply to babies as well.
3. The heart starts beating at about 5 weeks. Abortions almost always take place after 6 weeks, meaning that every year 200,000,000+ living humans are murdered legally.
4. It's extremely selfish for a woman to have an abortion. Murdering a helpless baby just to avoid a few hours of pain.

Please tell me you're joking. Life is amazing, no matter how hard it is for you. Think about how blessed you are to not be an abortion victim. Having absolutely no choice as to what you do in life, or even a choice on living a life in the first place.
 
Ah, there's where we differ.

Well, the person who got the abortion grew up Catholic so in your views they would go to Hell than. And they are someone very close to me I love very much, so there's no way I would every practice Catholicism.

Not even sure what religion I truly practice. Guess I grew up more Christian but eh, haven't gone to church for 6+ years and am very thankful for that.
