I was actually just old enough to still remember it. I was sick from school that day. I didn't really know what was going on, but I knew something happened in New York. I've been to the memorial in NY also.
I was a kindergartener at the time, but I did not go to school the day it happened. I remember my mom let me skip school that day. Other than that, I do not really remember anything else.
I vaguely remember that day. All I can really recall is when my mom and I went to pick up my siblings from school (I'm the youngest in my family) and they were all talking about it how the Twin Towers got hit by planes and collapsed. The only thing on the radio was people talking about it...
Anyway, I found this yesterday and thought I would share it with you guys. It's a phone message (a quote, not the actual recording) from one of the passengers of Flight 175 to his wife. I can't imagine how she must have felt when she heard this.

Yeah, I remember what happened. Fortunately, I wasn't there. Many innocent people died and the economical damages were huge! For me, it was a typical day, going to school ( high-school if I remember correctly ). When I came home, I watched many videos of the terroristic attack. All the TV Medias were concerned. The whole Greek community was very anxious about the people there. It's sad to see innocent people dying from some...idiots.
