Alright, we all know that there are parts of school that makes go "I'm kind of glad I got up for this." And sometimes we just go "Why the -enter your choice of colorful words- did I come for this?" I want to know your top 5 things that you will/won't miss about school when you leave? Here are my top 5 things I will miss:

5- Incessantly talking about boys:
I'm kidding! I personally am attracted to a wide variety of boys but I never do anything about it! I talk to my best friend about it and we laugh and make fun of each other. It's not like I ever go up to them and say "well hello there good sir, you make me happy when I look at you and well I like you -insert corny smile here-" But yes, I will miss this.

4- Cramming at the last minute:
Yes. I am what you call a procrastinator and I'm proud of it! I work best when I'm doing things at the last minute. I've recently made it a resolution to not do this and it's worked for the past week but I definitely will miss my late nights listening to Pandora at 3 a.m. writing an English paper on -insert English book-

3- Lunch-
This is what happens to me every single day at 10:36am every school day. 1) Get in line 2) Think about the cute boy in front of me (I'm kidding...kinda) 3) Order my sandwich (Turkey, provolone cheese with lettuce no mayo on wheat) 4) Pay for sandwich, apple, and white milk 5) Sit down with my best friend and other poor people who are unfortunate enough to sit with us (I'm jkjk they love us

Yeah... I'm definitely gonna miss talking about boys. :P

What I always miss is just being with my friends. I rarely ever get to hang out with them during the summer, so that's practically the only thing I look forward to about the school year. Also, summer is pretty boring a lot of the time. I only have one brother who still lives with me, and he's 5 years older than me and is working most of the time, so I don't do much during the typical summer day.

I shouldn't be complaining though... at least I'm not an only child.

I'm going to miss being with my friends the most. I spend a lot of time with my friends, and I know once I go off to college, I won't talk or see most of them much. Also I generally think High School is pretty easy compared to what college is going to be. So I appreciate school not being too hard and stressful.

I agree! Gossip/Drama is something that I just cannot stand. Luckily my friends and I pretty much stay out of it.

Oh yeah I bet you love talking about the boys hah! Well my sisters in college so she comes home during the summer but she's never around. Honestly, it's like I am an only child, it's not that bad, my parents are pretty chill people (just as long as they aren't telling me to clean my room we're good) My best friend doesn't like to hang out a lot but when we do it's amazing. I think I like school because it's like her parents are paying taxes for us to hang out (and get good grades of course)

To me, lunch is recess. All I ever did at my old school (once they banned the "older" kids from the park) was talk with my friends in the corner because they put us in an empty field with one football and the guys wouldn't let us play. I don't miss middle school all that much because I went to a small private school and I was with the same 30 kids since kindergarten (give or take a few). I love high school I'm going to miss it once it's gone but I know college will be great. I can't believe it's already halfway into my sophmore year. Next year might just suck a little because I'm taking like 4 AP classes and of course there is the daunting ACT (testing is not my strong suit...)

I'm definitely not looking forward to the ACT either. I consider myself extremely intelligent (:P), but when it comes to tests, I'm slow and nervous. Two traits that aren't good when the test is timed. I for one don't feel a timed test is a good way to decide someone's intelligence. But that's what it is. You do well on it, you're guaranteed a good university, you do bad on it, you'll end up at some small state college in the middle of no where. I also have high expectations, my older brother scored a thirty, so I have to follow-suit.
Agreed 100%. I'm probably the smartest kid in my class, but always finish tests dead last or second to last. A lot of the time I don't even have time to finish them.

Well...Good luck in college. I still have two years before I will be going off to the wonderful world of a university but according to my sister, she loves it. And I totally understand where you are coming with spending time with your friends and how you may not see them as much as if you were just around them almost all the time. However, think of it this way, if you are truly great friends, you will find a way to keep in touch! I mean look at all of the ways you can do it, facebook, skype, etc. You'll find a way to stay great friends!
