    2016 MLB surprises

Anyone shocked by a few of the teams that have started out the way they have? Here's some of my biggest surprises of the 2016 season thus far: Boston Red Sox: A team that is expected to win but that starting pitching was a huge question mark. Porcello has had a few good starts and I think the...

    NHL Playoffs 2016

Anyone been following? I'm a Wing's fan so obviously, not much to talk about on that front, but this Penguins/Capitals series is fantastic. Right now it's looking like game 2 is headed into overtime as well, at least at the current point. Whose everyone following and are you enjoying the...

    Violence in kids hockey?

I don't agree with at all. Too many sports, hockey included, are trying to soften and water down the league. Of course there's a chance a kid could get hurt, but that's part of the game, it's part of sports. You don't wanna see it happen, but it does. It's an intense game, sometimes you just...

    2016 MLB Season

I'm a die-hard Tiger's fan but my heart is with the Cubs as well. What Theo Epstein has done with that team is no less than magical. Joe Maddon is a genius. It's just a fun, young, crazy talented team. I don't know if 2016 will be the year, but it's coming, and it's coming real soon.

Prince Fielder to Rangers, Ian Kinsler to Tigers

A huge win for the Tigers in my opinion. I never liked Fielder's attitude and his lackluster intensity. He has such great talent and vision for the ball but it seems his head is never in the game. Moving that contract was probably Dombrowski's finest move.

    How about my A's

As a Tiger's fan I've always respected Oakland, even though we seem to have your number in October. I really am not a fan of teams that just throw cash around in the off-season and buy a team like we usually do. You always bring up these random kids no ones even heard of and somehow they...

    Ever caught a ball?

Caught my first foul ball (I'm 30 years old) at Comerica Park vs the Cubs last year. Off the bat of Ian Kinsler right above the 3rd base line. I gave it to a kid, seemed like the right thing to do. Never caught one since, or even been close. Went to a Tigers game in 2009 when Brandon Inge hit a...
