    Cooking

I can cook anything in boxes and packages with easy to follow instructions. Pastas, Ramen noodles... That sort of thing. We have a gas stove here, and I really don't like turning it off when I'm done with it. You have to turn the heat up all the way before shutting it down. Not. Fun.

    Loud Noises

I used to get freaked out over the fire drills, because I didn't know they were coming. We have some morons shooting fireworks off during the day, and they surprise Mom and I. We thought they were gun shots or something.

    First Time Using The Internet?

I know I've been on message boards since 2003. So I was about 15 when I started. I may have done school-related research on computers before that, but I don't remember. To be safe... 11-20.

Official How did you find us?

I keep almost everything that comes into my Inbox. The only exceptions to this are blatant spam messages. I don't see anything in my Inbox, other than a message from 2011 and the e-mail that I got for joining this board a few days ago.

    Flavored Milk

I was a huge fan of chocolate milk when I was a kid. While I still enjoy it, I don't drink as much of it.

    SCF: Blackhawks V.S Bruins

Was a bit depressed after the game. Still depressed now (just not as much, I think).

I'm not sure. They may have gone to my spam folder by mistake.

    What Events Have You Attended?

Would probably fit in Other Sports. Move this if necessary. Just wanted to know what sporting events you've been to. Mine is a laundry list. Here we go... + Five UConn women's basketball games in Hartford. One of the 2004 NCAA women's college basketball regional games. Finals, I think. + Two...

    Favorite MLB Team?

Red Sox. Did you know that I once skipped school so I could attend a Sox game? Junior year of high school (2004). Game was supposed to be a Tuesday night game (against Tampa Bay). It was a rainout, and it became the first game of a day/night doubleheader that Thursday. Went with a friend of...

Do you have a job in sport?

I used to write for auto racing for a few years. Wrote for the local track's book a few times, then got hired to write for a website. Unfortunately, I was let go before the 2011 season because of my style. That was fine - life started to go downhill from there, and my mind used to be elsewhere.

    Time Zone?

    Glasses or Contacts?

Been wearing glasses ever since grade school. Will never go to contacts. I've been told I wouldn't look good without glasses permanently. I'd take a picture of them, but I always seem to get the television and/or computer monitor through the lens. :P

    Hello. ^_^

I've been to a few other sports forums since this one... And I've literally been treated like I was invisible.

    SCF: Blackhawks V.S Bruins

Bruins were great last night. They just manhandled Chicago at the dot. 40 wins, compared to 16. Says a lot. I'd say that Boston's the underdog here... But it would be coming from someone who thought the ECF would go to seven.

    Hello. ^_^

Hi. Everyone calls me Mandy, so you're free to do so. 25. Connecticut. Obviously female. I'm a huge hockey fan, first and foremost (go Bruins!), followed by baseball (Red Sox), and football - thanks to my mom's boyfriend (Patriots). I'm also an auto racing fan, though I don't have a select...

    Chase Race #6: Talladega

Someone wants to raise the stakes a little... Talladega Superspeedway has long been known as NASCAR’s Most Competitive Track…and now it’s looking to back up that reputation with cold hard cash. Track officials believe that this month’s running of the Good Sam Club 500 could eclipse 100 lead...
