Is there any point that it is okay to visit someone without calling to inform the person?

In these modern times, you dare not go to a person's house without calling to inform the person first. It is important to call so that you won't badge into the privacy of someone or make them unease with your presence.

Is there any reason that it is okay not to call someone before you visit them?

There are times when it may be okay to walk in without calling if the person is a close family member or friend with whom you already know each other and you have habit of visiting without planning. Also, if person have told you many times that their home is open and you don't need to plan before coming, then that is a different matter.

No I don't think so. No matter the situation or point try and put a call.across before setting out. I don't try meeting anyone without doing the needful

No, because you never know what the person is doing. I hate when they do that. I always like it when they let me know before coming to my house, and I do the same. I ALWAYS let someone know before going to their house to find out if they're available or not.

Even though it is a emergency, what if you go to the person's house, and the person is not around? There is no reason that someone should go to another person's house without informing and getting consent.

Exactly, and if in the past it was done due to a lack of internet or cell phones, that's understandable, but nowadays it's almost impossible for someone to live so cut off from communication, so it's always possible to let someone know before visiting.

Sure. An unannounced visitor would be embarrassed if they find the host in a compromising situation. The host would as well be flustered.
