I am not a boxer but I have thought about taking it up and wondered what kind of advice you would give to a newbie?
 
I am not a boxer and don't plan on ever starting it. I don't really enjoy getting punched. xD I do enjoy to play it on the Wii though. :)
 
I'm a bit in the same boat you're in. I am not a boxer but I would like to join something relating to it. Sadly I CAN'T!!!!!!! The spot for the part of the body you get hit most of the time I can't get hit...(the head). I need to go to the doctor to see if this is still something that can't happen.
 
Boxing to me is about having the passion for it. You should go ahead if you want to be a boxer and you are sure you can pull.through with it
