Capitals vs. Predators Recap: Caps Hit Break with 4-2 Win

Before the boys could scatter to parts unknown (for most, and Milan for a few), there was some unfinished business to take care of – namely, a date with the Nashville Predators. Capitals vs. Predators: How the Game Was Won

The Capitals played 58 games coming into last night’s matchup with the Predators; all but six of those had been played without Pierre-Luc Dubois, who missed more than three months recovering from abdominal and adductor muscle surgery suffered on Halloween. Capitals vs. Predators Game Thread 2/5/26

In the second of back-to-backs…

Rink Roundtable: Olympics, Baby!

The women’s hockey tournament is already underway, but the men – including Tom Wilson, Logan Thompson, and Martin Fehervary – will get their Olympic Games going tomorrow. As we await the return of NHLers to the Olympic stage for the first time in over a decade, we thought we’d tackle a few pressing (and not-so-pressing) questions about Milano Cortina and beyond! We’ll start by being vicious…

USA vs. Canada Gold Medal Game Thread

So far in the women’s hockey tournament at the Milan Olympics, both Team USA and Team Canada have fairly dominated the field, with the Canadian women going 5-1 and the Americans a clean 6-0…including handing Canada their lone defeat of the preliminary rounds. In those six wins, the USA squad has outscored opponents by a stunning 31-1, and hasn’t given up a goal since their opening 5-1 win…
