Las Vegas Raiders’ Pete Caroll expects Kolton Miller to return

gettyimages-2238337670.jpg

The Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive line has struggled for most of the season. It has started to leak into the passing game with the absence of Kolton Miller. His replacement is Stone Forsythe, who has allowed 14 pressures and a pass-blocking efficiency of 94.8.

Miler has been on IR since week 4 of the 2025 season. While the team’s record suggests that the Raiders will decide to keep him off the field head coach Pete Carroll had a different tone. During his press conference Saturday Carroll was asked about the status of Kolton Miller. He expects a return of Kolton Miller off IR before the end of the year.

“Yeah. Yeah, I do. He’s getting around okay, and everything’s pointing towards that. Yeah”

Miller returning to close out the year might seem like a waste, but it tells fans that the Raiders are attempting to win games down the stretch. While it may be too little, too late, the offense at full strength should hopefully improve an offense that is averaging 14.8 points per game. They will need all the help they can get to return to the form Raider Nation saw in Week 1.

Las Vegas Raiders are close to flipping turnover, takeaway margin

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith is the main culprit in terms of turnovers with 12 interceptions thrown through nine games.

Just four games into the 2025 campaign, the Las Vegas Raiders dug themselves into quite the turnover-takeaway hole at 10 giveaways while taking the ball away from the opposition just four meager times.

In that timeframe, there were three- and four-turnover outings in Week 2 and Week 4 losses to the Los Angeles Chargers (20-9) and Chicago Bears (25-24), respectively.

Since then, however, the Raiders staunched the bleeding.

That turnover/takeaway ratio now sits at 14-10, thanks in large part to single-digit giveaways since Week 5. While the Silver & Black’s overall record is still basura at 2-7 overall, quelling costly turnovers — especially for a Las Vegas squad that has to play perfect or close to it due to inconsistency and ineffectiveness, as evidenced by scoring less than 10 points four times this year — keeping possession while creating sudden change with takeaways is mission critical for the back half of the season.

Just last week, cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly’s pair of interceptions off quarterback Bo Nix helped the Raiders stonewall the Denver Broncos offense, and although the end result was a 10-7 road loss, it showed how competitive and how sweaty the Silver & Black can render the opposition. A tale as old as time, really: The team that doesn’t cough up the ball while taking it away from the opponent tends to win ballgames.

“It’s great. Again, youth, experience, it’s how they perform on Sundays and Thursdays and this week, Monday. It’s how they perform. So again, whether they’re a rookie or 10-year vet, it’s how you perform ,” Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham said when asked about Kelly’s two interceptions and how encouraging it is to see younger players starting to develop. “And these guys, for their whole lives, they’ve seized the opportunity in different stages of their career. I was happy to see him go get the ball and seize the moment, and then to get two that was pretty impressive.

“But we have a tough task ahead of us with Dallas, really good quarterback, one of the best in the league. Skill group’s outstanding. So, every week is a reset. Luckily, we get a few extra days this week.”

Kelly is one of two Las Vegas defenders with multiple takeaways as safety Isaiah Pola-Mao also has two interceptions on the season. Linebacker Devin White has an interception and forced fumble that was recovered by a teammate. And edge rusher Maxx Crosby also has a pick. Defensive tackles Thomas Booker and Adam Butler each have a fumble recovery as does defensive end Tyree Wilson.

Graham made it abundantly clear what he wants to see from his defense from here on in: “Again, Sunday, want the wins than losses, and that’s the most important thing,” he said. “I’m real proud of the process in terms of how those guys went through the week. And they saw some success out there on the field. We just got to win. That’s what we got to do. We got to do whatever it takes to win. So, that’s where we’re at.”

Offensively, Geno Smith remains the biggest turnover culprit with 12 interceptions on the season. Heading into Sunday’s action, that was second only behind Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa who has 13. The two AFC signal callers have flip flopped for most interceptions thrown throughout the year.

We'll take that.

— Denver Broncos (@Broncos) November 7, 2025

While Smith won’t admit it, it’s difficult not to see the veteran seem gun shy after so many sudden-change possessions after his interceptions. And that’s resulted in holding the ball too long, throwing it too early, and that’s led to sacks and incompletions. Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly knows missteps in execution and play calling has hindered the Silver & Black.

“We’re talking about eliminating a drop, talking about eliminating a penalty, we’re talking about holding up better in protection, being able to get the ball out a little bit quicker. And it’s a fine line in this game, and we’re three plays away from whatever, I don’t know what our record is now, you’re a five win team and you’re battling,” Kelly explained. “We missed two field goals and a two point conversion, but the game is that close. Every week is a battle. That’s the beauty of the league, and the competitive nature of the league, is you can’t make those mistakes and expect that you’re going to be successful. So, we got to continue to correct them, and we got to be able to make sure that it’s the defense that’s stopping us; it’s not us stopping us.”

Flipping the turnover-takeaway ration goes a long way in what Kelly and the Raiders want to happen.

Quotes of Note

“So a lot of it, as we talk to our team about, is just not the self inflicted wounds. The defense is going to make plays. These defenses in this league are really, really good, but it’s the penalties, it’s the drops, it’s the turnovers that really hurt you on the offensive side of the ball, and those are things that we have to clean up. And that’s on us, that’s nothing that we can say, ‘Hey, they did a good job’ If we don’t get our hands where they’re supposed to be and they’re outside the framework of the body and you’re corralling somebody, then they’re going to call a hold. Or do we line up in the right formations? All those things are things that right now, because of some of the injuries and where we are and you’re really kind of thin, we can’t afford to hurt ourselves. And that’s, I think, in a lot of those drive situations, that’s what’s been happening to us.”

—Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Chip Kelly when about his offense being held to under 10 points four times this season and why it’s hard for the team to score.

“Again, not trying to be a jerk or anything. All I care about is winning. All those dudes care about is winning. Win. So, am I proud how they did sudden change? Yes. Am I proud when they made stops? Yes. But to a man, and again, you all can ask them, and if I’m wrong, I’m wrong, all they care about is winning. That’s it. Just got to win.”

—Las Vegas Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham when asked how satisfying is it to see his defense step up against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Denver Broncos the last two weeks.

Head-to-head

Monday night’s clash marks the 14th time the Raiders and Cowboys go toe-to-toe. The Silver & Black lead the overall series 7-6 (all regular season games) with the Raiders winning the most recent out — 36-33 in overtime — on Daniel Carlson’s 29-yard boot on Thanksgiving Day in 2021. Before that, the Cowboys won three-straight matchups from 2009 to 2017. And the Raiders won the previous three from 1998 to 2005.

Jack Jones says Las Vegas ‘Raiders should’ve kept me’

Jack Jones

The Las Vegas Raiders had Sunday off, but let’s check in on how Week 11 treated a few former Raiders: Jack Jones, Jakobi Meyers and Davante Adams.

While Josh Jacobs is typically featured in this column, Jacobs had seven carries for 40 yards before exiting the Green Bay Packers’ 27-20 victory against the New York Giants early with a knee injury. According to NFL media’s Tom Pelissero, the initial belief is that Jacobs avoided a significant injury and “there is optimism that he’ll return soon”, though.

Jack Jones

The Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders kicked off Sunday’s action with a 6:30 a.m. PT game in Madrid, Spain, and an overtime thriller. Jones played a major role in the Dolphins’ win, coming up with the interception (off of another former Raider, Marcus Mariota) to set up Miami’s game-winning field goal. As the numbers above show, Jones had a pretty good day in coverage and after the contest, he posted on X/Twitter: “The Raiders should’ve kept me.. #GoPhins.” He had a good outing on Sunday, but coming into the weekend, the corner had given up three touchdowns and a passer rating of 113.5 while drawing seven penalties, according to Pro Football Focus.

Jakobi Meyers

  • Game result: 35-6 Jaguars win
  • Stats: 5 catches, 64 yards

This was an absolute beatdown, as the Jacksonville Jaguars dominated the Los Angeles Chargers essentially from the first snap to the last. For the second week in a row, Meyers was the team’s leading receiver, and it looks like he’s built immediate chemistry with quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The former Raider also led the Jags in targets. Granted, Jacksonville’s running game was the bigger story here, rushing for nearly 200 yards and over four yards a carry as a team. The Jaguars now sit half a game behind the Chargers and have the tiebreaker for the sixth-seed in the AFC playoff standings, while also leading the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs by a game, owning the tiebreaker over Kansas City.

Arik Armstead (86.5)
Jakobi Meyers (83.6)

— Gus Logue (@gus_logue) November 16, 2025

Davante Adams

  • Game result: 21-19 Rams
  • Stats: 1 catch, 1 yard, 1 TD

All Adams does this season is catch touchdowns. He has seven scores in the last four games and, according to PFF, he has more red zone TDs than any other wide receiver has total TDs this season. So, while the wideout only had one catch on the afternoon, he certainly made it count by finding the end zone for the 10th time in 2025, which is the seventh time in 12 career seasons he’s cracked double-digits. Adams also joined the 1,000-career catch club, tying Hines Ward for 16th all-time. This was a huge win for the Rams, who now control the NFC West by getting a one-game lead over the Seahawks and currently own the two-seed in the conference.

Another embarrassing performance by Las Vegas Raiders

Pete Carroll

The Las Vegas Raiders are hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. Here is everything to need to know about the game:

First quarter

The Raiders won the coin toss and deferred to the second half.
Dallas got the ball and went three and out. Las Vegas’ defense is good to start games. For some reason both Dallas’ standout wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens were not on the field for the opening drive. Reportedly, it was a coach’s decision.

On the Raiders’ first drive, Geno Smith hit star tight end Brock Bowers for an 18-yard reception on the first play of the game. He wasn’t targeted for much of the game in Week 10 at Denver. The Raiders went on to punt.

Lamb and Pickens entered the game on the Cowboys’ second drive, which started at the Cowboys own 4-yard line after another great effort for Raiders’ punter A.J. Cole.

Wow, huge turnover. Maxx Crosby with the strip sack and Tonka Hemingway recovered. Raiders’ ball on Dallas’ 15. The Raiders had to settle for a 35-yard Daniel Carlson field goal.

Raiders’ defensive tackle Jonah Laulu suffered a ribs injury.

Dallas had some chunk plays and tied the game at 3-3 with a field goal with 5:36 to go in the quarter.

The Raiders are using the play action passes well as Smith hits rookie Jack Bech for and Bowers for big plays. Las Vegas got to the Dallas 17 then the drive stalled. They settle for another Carlson field goal to make it a 6-3 game.

The Raiders have had 13 offensive plays. They have run the ball once.

Second quarter:

The Cowboys went down the field and Prescott hit Lamb for an easy 18-yard touchdown as they took a 10-6 lead.

Smith was sacked for the third time. The Raiders’ offensive line struggling. Quinnen Williams has 1.5 sacks in his first game with Dallas.

The Raiders have gone 15 straight drives without a touchdown.

Lamb and Pickens are smoking the Raiders. A Prescott touchdown pass to tight end Jake Ferguson. Dallas up 17-6.

The Raiders were driving, but then Smith threw another bad interception. He is tied for the NFL lead with 13.

Chip Kelly just isn’t running the ball.

Now, Prescott hits Pickens for a 37-yard touchdown pass. Dallas is smoking the Raiders 24-6.

The offensive line stinks, they can’t run and they are getting gutted on defense.

Smith has been pressured 10 times.

Carlson with another field goal.

Cowboys 24, Raiders 9 at halftime.

Raiders get ball to start second half.

The Raiders have thrown it 28 times and have run it four times. Good thing they drafted Ashton Jeanty with the No. 6 overall pick.

Third quarter:

Prescott threw his fourth touchdown pass of the game and Dallas leads 31-9 with 6:19 to go in the quarter. Las Vegas has allowed, at least, 30 points in five games.

Dallas up 31-9 going into fourth quarter.

Fourth quarter:

Smith hit Tre Tucker for a short touchdown pass. Dallas is up 31-16 with 13:22 to go. It broke an 18-drive touchdown-less streak for Las Vegas.

The Cowboys tackle Jeanty in the end zone for a safety. Dallas up 33-16 with 10:33 to go.

The Raiders tried an onsides kick after the safety. It didn’t work.

More ugliness as this thing winds down.

Final score:

Cowboys 33, Raiders 16.

Now that the game is over, let’s take a look at the key aspects:

Team records:
The Las Vegas Raiders are 2-8. The Dallas Cowboys are 4-5-1.

What the loss means for the Raiders:

This team is awful. Pete Carroll boasted how he regularly wins 10 games a season. Even if the Raiders win out, that will not happen. The Raiders will be eliminated from the AFC West division race with either a loss or a Denver win the rest of the season. The Raiders have allowed, at least, 30 points in five losses and have been beaten by double digits five times. This game could have been a lot worse.

Turning point of the game:

After missing around early, the Cowboys scored three touchdowns in the second quarter and this game was never really close.

Injury report:

Raiders’ defensive tackle Jonah Laulu suffered a ribs injury in the first quarter. He did not return.

What’s next for the Raiders:

The Raiders have another home game, on Sunday against the 2-8 Cleveland Browns and rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders his expected to make his starting debut. Kickoff is at 1:05 p.m. PT.

Evaluating DJ Glaze’s future on Las Vegas Raiders OL

gettyimages-2233815711.jpg

The Raiders selected Delmar Glaze with the 77th overall selection in the 2024 NFL draft and Glaze immediately made waves taking the starting RT position where he started all 17 games and in 998 snaps allowed 3 sacks and 51 pressures along with 4.1 ypc as a lead blocker (which was among the highest for the OL in 2024). Glaze had his issues with a large pressure rate and the tendency to struggle at times with twitchy quick footed pass rushers that were able to bend the edge against him and get into the backfield to create pressure on the quarterback though Glaze did a good job with his re-correction and preventing pass rushers from getting to the QB before Minshew or O’Connell or Ridder could get an attempt off. In 2025, Glaze has seen a small struggle at times and the shift to a new scheme has impacted his run blocking at times as well.

— Ryan Holmes (@Rholm22) October 16, 2025

A solid athlete, Glaze logged a 5.54 RAS (relative athletic score) before the 2024 NFL draft notably taking knocks for his low vertical jump, height, 3-cone, and average 40 yard dash. However, Glaze did see good marks in his bench (29) and 10 split (1.77) which made him an interesting prospect along with his 35 inch arms which translate well to the NFL. This season through 9 games, Glaze has allowed 5 sacks and 22 pressures for the same pressure rate as he had in 2024 but the sacks have seen an uptick. In addition, Glaze’s run block win rate has fell nearly 8% while he’s also averaging 4.3 ypc as a lead blocker which could be attributed to the change at runningback between Zamir White and Alexander Mattison to Ashton Jeanty. Prior to the draft, a key note in majority of Glaze’s draft profiles was his potential transition to guard which would make sense due to his limited foot speed and average bend at the tackle position which can lead to struggles vs twitchy pass rush opponents off the edge. Glaze’s size and strength would translate in the run game, an area of success for him since his time at Maryland. While Glaze has never taken a snap at guard in his college or NFL career, the move could be beneficial for both him and the Raiders. Glaze has experience working on the left side having logged 1151 snaps at LT in college (1147 at RT) though he’s solely played all 1500 snaps at RT in the NFL but has worked at left tackle during training camp to cross train. The key note is Glaze having an understanding of the footwork required to transition from the right side to the left side if a move to guard does occur.

The Raiders are likely to let Dylan Parham walk in free agency which would open a hole at left guard that could be filled by DJ Glaze if the Raiders intend to go that route. Additionally, a hole at right guard could open if the team shifts Jackson Powers-Johnson to center after this season at guard. Jordan Meredith has been average at center but was a standout guard during his time there and could see his role transition back to the position he’s played every year but this season. In addition to Powers-Johnson and Meredith is 2025 3rd rounder Caleb Rogers who has yet to see the field (maybe he has vs the Cowboys when you read this) which could be another competition mark for Glaze. Glaze has been a solid starting right tackle for the Raiders but the average athletic profile and relatively slightly above average play has caused for a damper at times and though he’s had his ups there’s been a collection of negatives as well. The Raiders also drafted Charles Grant in the 3rd round of the 2025 draft and the former William & Mary standout is pushing to be the Raiders RT going forward after this season if he can continue his development.

Bonnito spins around DJ Glaze to get to Geno Smith, shoutout to Zach Allen, who puts his power on display in a great rep and also gets to Smith. pic.twitter.com/mUFwDb35ze

😢🥭#WeAreAllFeliz (@CookChefCeeDee) November 11, 2025

Glaze will have the opportunity to finish the 2025 season at right tackle and with Grant pushing to eventually make an impact, largely in part to his elite athletic traits, there’s a world where Glaze may be competing for his spot in 2026 or looking to transition to the interior. Glaze’s strength profile, initial quickness as a run blocker, and IQ would work well in the run game on the interior and at 6’4/330 he does have the size for an interior lineman. There’s a world also where Grant isn’t ready for 2026 and the Raiders retain Glaze at RT, though long story short he’s been successful enough to where the Raiders likely have to find a way for Glaze to be on the field either at guard or sticking at right tackle going forward. At just 23 years old, Glaze has shown good film consistently enough to warrant continued play time and the opportunity to be a starter at some position on the offensive line and it could be on the interior going forward.

Las Vegas Raiders not doing Ashton Jeanty any favors

Ashton Jeanty swallowed up

Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders’ rookie class fared in a 33-16 home loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11 and what it means looking ahead to Sunday’s home game against the Cleveland Browns.

Ashton Jeanty:

The No. 6 overall draft pick isn’t having a great season and a lot of it is out of his control. He isn’t getting much help from the offensive line and the coaching staff isn’t helping much, either. The Dallas game was a prime example. Jeanty had just six carries (two in the first half) for seven yards. Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly must get Jeanty going on a more consistent basis. It’s ridiculous.

Jack Bech:

The second-round pick logged just nine offensive snaps. Meanwhile, 33-year-old new addition Tyler Lockett had 28 snaps. Bech caught his only target, for 19 yards. He has been targeted just 12 times this season. There is no excuse for him not to get much more playing time down the stretch.

Darien Porter:

Porter didn’t start after starting the past two games and his play time dwindled again. After playing 42 percent of the snaps against Denver in Week 10, he played 22 percent against the Cowboys. This another young player who needs to see the field more.

Caleb Rogers:

The offensive lineman, taken in the third round, has been inactive for all but one game. He was expected to get a chance to start against Dallas with Jackson Powers-Johnson injured. Reportedly, a bad practice last week changed those plans. Coach Pete Carroll said this week Rogers is working hard, but he’s not ready yet. It’s a bit worrisome the Raiders felt better about elevating Atonio Mafi from the practice squad in favor of activating a third-round pick this late into the season. Let’s see if that changes soon.

Charles Grant:

The offensive lineman, taken in the third round, has been active for six games because Kolton Miller is out for with a high-ankle sprain, but he hasn’t played on offense.

Dont’e Thornton:

The wide receiver, taken in the fourth round, was active for the second straight game after being a surprise healthy scratch in Week 9. His snap count went down from 37 against Denver to 23 against Dallas. He was not targeted and has just six catches on 21 targets this season. He had just one catch for four yards on nine targets in his past six games.

Tonka Hemingway:

The fourth-round pick played 38 snaps after playing a combined 44 snaps in his previous three games. So, here’s a rookie who is actually getting a chance to play. Hemingway recovered a Maxx Crosby strip sack of Dak Prescott in the first quarter in the red zone that setup a Raiders’ field goal. Let’s see if Hemingway continues to get more playing time.

JJ Pegues:

The defensive tackle, taken in the sixth round, was inactive for the eighth time.

Cody Lindenberg:

The seventh-round pick played 21 snaps on special teams, which is his normal range.

Carter Runyan:

The undrafted free agent tight end was active after being inactive at Denver. He played one snap on offense and 16 on special teams.

Where Tonka Hemingway can improve moving forward

Tonka Hemingway

While a lot has been made about the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2025 NFL draft class getting little to no playing time this season, one rookie who saw the field a lot against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football is defensive lineman Tonka Hemingway.

According to Pro Football Focus, the South Carolina product recorded 38 total snaps in Week 11. However, outside of a fumble recovery, Hemingway had a quiet night by not even recording a tackle. To make matters worse, he received an ugly 28.0 grade from PFF due in part to having a missed tackle and failing to log a pressure on 17 pass-rush snaps.

So, where can the rookie improve moving forward, and were there any encouraging reps against the Cowboys? Let’s flip on the tape and find out.

Diving into the good and where Tonka Hemingway can improve from yesterday's game.

Nothing too special here, but I like how he works the hands and the effort to recover the fumble on the other side of the field #Raiders pic.twitter.com/Z1X6UcjNmW

— Matt Holder (@MHolder95) November 19, 2025

While the rep above isn’t too impressive and Maxx Crosby is the catalyst that makes this play happen, there are a couple of positive takeaways for Hemingway.

The Cowboys run a play-action pass where he’s defending the run initially before recognizing the play design and shifting gears to being a pass-rusher. Then, he does a good job of working the left tackle’s hands to break free around the edge and shows off some impressive hustle to go recover the fumble on the other side of the field.

The defensive line is put at a disadvantage by the play design, but the rookie found a way to be effective and play a part in the turnover. Also, using his hands like this will pay off and lead to more wins down the line.

Consistency with his hands is an issue tho, he's often late and allows the OL to make the first significant contact pic.twitter.com/uL0GndmuRm

— Matt Holder (@MHolder95) November 19, 2025

Hemingway is inconsistent with his use of hands as a pass-rusher, though. He’s often late and allows the offensive lineman to make the first significant contact, which allows the right tackle to control the rep and prevents the defender from being able to work a move here. As a result, Hemingway ends up chest-to-chest with the right tackle and can’t get on the edge.

That being said, I do appreciate how he tries to work the tackle’s hands after contact on this rep.

Taking on double teams against the run is still a big work in progress. Hands are down, giving up his chest and allowing LT to stand him up, making it easier for the LG to push him out of the B-gap pic.twitter.com/xmsM3mdLbw

— Matt Holder (@MHolder95) November 19, 2025

In the running game, taking on double teams was one of the former Gamecock’s biggest weaknesses in college, and it continues to be a big work in progress. Part of the issue is his pad level as he stands up out of his stance. Then, Hemingway’s hands are low and too wide at the point of contact, which exposes his chest and allows the left tackle to stand him up even more. So, the left guard’s job is easier, as the guard pushes Hemingway out of the B-gap and to the top of the numbers.

Similar issue on this one, plus he has a narrow base and ends up getting put on the ground pic.twitter.com/UXoektUy73

— Matt Holder (@MHolder95) November 19, 2025

This time, Hemingway is lined up at 3-technique. We’ll see the same issues with his hands, exposing his chest and allowing the right guard to lift his shoulders. Also, Hemingway’s base is too narrow here, which is why he goes from the A-gap to nearly the C-gap when the center makes contact with him.

Granted, it doesn’t help that the rookie is slanting into the A-gap and has to redirect with the offense running mid zone and the guard working to his outside shoulder on the reach block. That is part of the issue with Hemingway’s base.

Also, more experience can help here because if he recognizes the blocking scheme quickly, he can shift his attention from taking on the guard’s block to the center’s block to stay in the A-gap instead of trying to pivot quickly and change directions.

I like how he gets off the ball and attacks the RT's inside shoulder here, but we gotta finish the tackle and get the TFL pic.twitter.com/Dn9x4oEzCV

— Matt Holder (@MHolder95) November 19, 2025

Hemingway definitely benefits from a miscommunication by the right guard and tackle here, as the tackle picks up the edge defender and the guard climbs to the second level. But this is a good job of getting off the ball and attacking the tackle’s inside shoulder to split the combo block and get penetration in the backfield. However, he has to bring his feet with him on the tackle attempt to fully take advantage and come up with a TFL here.

Solo block here, much better pad level and hands to get extension on the block and be in a position to make the tackle had Roberts been in the backside B-gap pic.twitter.com/Venjq1eDKI

— Matt Holder (@MHolder95) November 19, 2025

Finally, the rookie gets a one-on-one block here and this is his most encouraging rep of the night. He does a much better job of keeping his pads down, shooting his hands quickly and maintaining a wide base. That allows Hemingway to lock out the left tackle and get an extension on the block with a long arm.

If the Raiders had someone in the backside A-gap, he’d be in a great position to make the tackle in the playside A-gap. But that doesn’t happen, so Dallas gets a chunk gain on the ground.

Overall, there are a handful of positive reps, but Hemingway still has some work to do to be more consistent.

Tre Tucker not producing like top wide receiver yet

Tre Tucker

Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2023 draft class fared in a 33-16 home loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11 and what it means looking ahead to Sunday’s home game against the Cleveland Browns.

Tyree Wilson:

The No. 7 overall draft pick played 43 percent of the snaps (he averages 44 percent) and had three tackles including a quarterback hit. Thus, he was his typical so-so self.

Michael Mayer:

The second-round pick played 76 percent of the snaps up from his average of 61 percent. He had three catches on four targets for 13 yards. It’s time for Mayer to start making a bigger impact on the stat line.

Tre Tucker:

The speedy third-round pick has played starter snaps all season. Yet, in the past two games, Tucker became the team’s No. 1 wide receiver with Jakobi Meyer traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tucker has six catches for 75 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets since the Meyers trade. Tucker’s production has gone up and down his entire career. It’s time for him to produce on a more consistent basis.

Aidan O’Connell:

The reserve quarterback was activated to the 53-man roster on Wednesday for the first time this season. The fourth-round pick broke his wrist in the final preseason game. It will be interesting to see if he or Kenny Pickett will be the backup to Geno Smith against Cleveland.

Chris Smith:

The fifth-round safety from Georgia was inactive after being a core special teamer and the he was waived on Tuesday. Lonnie Johnson’s return to health hurt Smith. Wednesday, he was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Rams and he is now on their 53-man roster.

Las Vegas Raiders add Maxx Crosby, 2 others to Week 12 injury report ahead of Cleveland Browns matchup

Maxx Crosby

After only listing defensive tackle Jonah Laulu (ribs) on the first injury report of Week 12, the Las Vegas Raiders added defensive end Maxx Crosby, defensive tackle Leki Fotu and guard Dylan Parham to Thursday’s report ahead of the matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Crosby is battling a knee injury, while Fotu has an issue with his heel and Parham is listed with an Achilles injury. The good news for the Raiders is that all four players, including Laulu, participated in practice. Laulu, Crosby and Fotu were all limited while Parham was a full participant.

Barring a setback from Crosby, Sunday’s game will still feature two of the NFL’s best defensive ends, with the league’s sack leader, Myles Garrett, returning to full participation in practice on Thursday after a rest day earlier in the week. Guard Joel Bitonio, defensive tackle Maliek Collins and cornerback Denzel Ward were also listed as limited participants for rest on Wednesday but were upgraded for the team’s second practice of the week.

Cleveland hasn’t had tight end David Njoku (knee) and defensive end Alex Wright (quad) at practice this week, though, as both missed Thursday’s session. Rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who has been the team’s starter since Week 5, also hasn’t been on the practice field after suffering a concussion last Sunday. Head coach Kevin Stefanski announced previously that fellow rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders will be the Browns’ starter.

Las Vegas Raiders can’t let Myles Garrett take over

Myles Garrett

The Las Vegas Raiders host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Kickoff is at 1:05 p.m. PT. Here are five keys to victory for the Raiders:

Contain Myles Garrett:

Well, that may not be possible. The superstar defensive end is playing out of his mind. Garrett has 10 sacks in the past three games. Yes, 10 sacks in the past three games. We all know the Raiders’ offensive line has struggled badly this season. They have allowed 11 sacks and 41 pressures in the past two games. Garret can absolutely wreck the Raiders’ offense in this game.

Make Shedeur Sanders’ life miserable:

While Garrett represents the Browns’ best chance of winning this game between the two 2-8 squads, Sanders may represent the Raiders’ best chance to be victorious for just the third time this season. Sanders will make his NFL starting debut because fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel is in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Sanders played some in Week 11 and struggled. He will have a full week’s practice this week to help him prepare. Still, the fifth-round pick is raw and he has no business winning an NFL game. The Raiders must make sure Sanders looks like the raw rookie he is.

Worry about the rookie linebacker:

The Raiders were rumored to be interested in Sanders in the draft, and they were also rumored to like UCLA linebacker Carson Schwesinger. He’s been outstanding and is in the mix to win the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award. So, the Browns’ defense isn’t all about stopping Garrett.

Act like the better team:

This game is very similar to the Raiders’ Week 6 home game against the Tennessee Titans, which was the last time Las Vegas has won. The Titans were a bumbling one-win team (they still are) and the Raiders were the better team. They are probably slightly better than the Browns and the game is at home. If the Raiders can limit their mistakes, they should win this game.

Run the damn ball:

The Raiders ran the ball just 12 times against Dallas on Monday night. They had three called run plays in the first half. Come on, Chip Kelly, establish the run game. Ashton Jeanty wasn’t drafted at No. 6 overall to have six rush attempts like he did against Dallas. Run the damn ball.

Shedeur Sanders one of many Browns’ rookies Las Vegas Raiders must account for

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders, left, and running back Quinshon Judkins are two of many Cleveland Browns rookies the Las Vegas Raiders must account for this Sunday.

The spotlight for the Week 12 matchup between the host Las Vegas Raiders and visiting Cleveland Browns is on quarterback Shedeur Sanders. And for good reason.

The rookie signal caller had plenty of buzz heading into the 2025 NFL Draft and the Silver & Black were one of the assumed potential suitors for the Colorado product. Instead, Sanders — the son of current Colorado head coach and takeaway artist NFL cornerback Deion Sanders — had quite the draft freefall before the Browns plucked him with the 144th pick in the fifth round.

With fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel (94th overall pick in the third round) out due to concussion symptoms, it’s Sanders who gets the starting nod and a full week’s prep of first-team snaps for the upcoming AFC clash in Allegiant Stadium this Sunday.

Shedeur Sanders will join Brian Griese as the only sons of Pro Football Hall of Famers to start an @NFL regular season game at QB.

Griese's first win? At the Raiders.

(via @NFLPlus Research)

— Andrew Siciliano (@AndrewSiciliano) November 19, 2025

But Sanders is but one of many Cleveland rookies Las Vegas must account for. Outside of the late-round quarterback (Sanders), the seven prospects the Browns drafted this past April have all played between eight to 10 games. In comparison, of the 11 prospects the Raiders selected, four have played in all 10 games so far: Ashton Jeanty (sixth overall pick), wide receiver Jack Bech (58th overall), cornerback Darien Porter (68th overall), and linebacker Cody Lindenberg (222nd overall). Offensive lineman Caleb Rogers (98th overall) and quarterback Cam Miller (215th overall, practice squad) have not played in a game yet.

Of the rookies to play in Allegiant Stadium this Sunday, it’s Cleveland’s second-round pick that’s turning heads with a fine rookie campaign.

Sensational Schwesinger

Linebacker Carson Schwesinger was a prospect I habitually had the Raiders taking in my various mock drafts leading up to draft day. The UCLA product was a special teams maniac before a full season as a linebacker for the Bruins and Cleveland took him with the 33rd overall pick.

Using his size (6-foot-3, 242 pounds) speed, agility, and football intelligence, Schwesinger is putting on a show in Year 1 as he leads the Browns in total tackles with 85 (38 solo). The 22-year-old also eight tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two interceptions as he’s flying all over the field as a rookie.

Carson Schwesinger (49) is sensational.

Pre-snap ID, run fits, stack/shed, range, he checks all the boxes.

Looks like an All-Pro already as a rookie. pic.twitter.com/Hq5l4QgVoG

— Ryan Fowler (@_RyanFowler_) November 17, 2025

Rarely coming off the field — 569 snaps on defense, good for 96 percent of Cleveland’s total — Schwesinger is prone to rookie mistakes. Pro Football Reference charts the young linebacker with 17 completions on 23 targets (73.9 percent) for 211 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also charted with six missed tackles, but overall, it’s an impressive initial season in the NFL.

Also Keep An Eye On

The Browns’ first-round pick — Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham — isn’t lighting up his statistics Year 1 like Schwesinger with 22 total tackles, four stops for loss, half a sack, and a trio of pass deflections as the fifth-overall pick. But playing against the Raiders’ offensive line, the 6-foot-4 and 315-pound interior lineman could see a breakout performance.

The Raiders defense must be in tip top shape to contend with Browns running back Quinshon Judkins, taken just three picks behind Schwesinger in the second round. Las Vegas offensive coordinator Chip Kelly is quite familiar with Judkins as he dialed up plays to feature the tailback at Ohio State and Patrick Graham’s defense must contend with size, vision, and power the halfback brings to the table. Judkins has 620 yards and five touchdowns on 157 carries this season with a long run of 46 yards on the year.

Quinshon Judkins and Ashton Jeanty continue to lead the way among the rushers of the 2025 Draft 💨 pic.twitter.com/ocEnSP4Tyh

— The 33rd Team (@The33rdTeamFB) November 19, 2025

Cleveland’s third-round pick, tight end Harold Fannin (67th overall), is currently leading the team with 44 receptions and 442 yards receiving. The Bowling Green product has solid size at 6-foot-4 and 241 pounds and he uses it well. Fannin has two touchdown catches on the year and is second on the team in first-down receptions with 19 (wide receiver Jerry Jeudy leads in this department with 21 of his 31 catches being chain movers). How Las Vegas matches up with Fannin — be it a linebacker or safety — is going to be key and Fannin isn’t a slouch as a blocker, either.

Gabriel, who is set to miss this Sunday’s game, has thrown 184 times, completed 109 passes for 937 yards to seven touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Browns took Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson with the 126th overall pick in the fourth round. The speedy 5-foot-8 and 200-pound tailback was equal parts runner-receiver in college and he’s been deployed more as a pass catcher in Year 1 with 21 receptions for 136 yards and a score. But his playing time has waned as the 2025 campaign continues.

Quote of Note:

“I mean, he’s Deion Sanders’s son, so he’s fine with that. He’s had to deal with that his entire life. So, when you’re dealing with scrutiny, I mean, if you listen to it, that’s on you if it matters to you. Personally, it doesn’t matter to me, so I really don’t care about it, but I’m focused on doing my job and executing and being the best player that I can be every single day. But as far as Shedeur goes, he’s living his life, and he can only speak for that, but my advice is always to him is to go out there and be yourself and play your game.”

Las Vegas Raiders-Cleveland Browns predictions

Myles Garrett

It’s Saturday and we’re continuing our weekly tradition of predicting Las Vegas Raiders game.

While the Raiders are 2-8, I’m 9-1 predicting their games this season.

It’s been a rough season for the Raiders, but yes, this is a very winnable game as they host the equally woeful Cleveland Browns. Nothing like a battle between two 2-8 teams heading into Thanksgiving week, right?

The Browns are awful and are giving fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders his first NFL start. Sanders was really bad last week when he replaced Dillon Gabriel after he suffered a concussion.

The Raiders’ defense is solid against bad offenses and they are lackluster against good offenses. So, this week, Las Vegas could be in business. The key is making sure Browns’ sack master Myles Garrett doesn’t destroy the Raiders’ offense.

I expect a low-scoring game like when the Raiders beat the Tennessee Titans, the worst team in the league, in Week 6.

Prediction:

Raiders 20, Browns 10

Now, it’s your turn.

Raider Nation’s confidence falls to their lowest of 2025

gettyimages-2247404544.jpg

The Las Vegas Raiders are getting ready for their Sunday showdown with the Cleveland Browns. It will be in front of the home crowd for the second week in a row, and fans will be expecting a better showing than in Week 11

Chip Kelly and the Raiders offense continue to struggle and made a struggling Cowboys defense look stellar. It was another game this season in which they scored 20 points or fewer, and they are 31st in points per game. The beat-up offensive line now has to face Myles Garrett, who has been collecting four sack games this season.

In this week’s SB Nation Reacts, we ask Raider Nation what their confidence is in the team’s direction. Raider Nation is losing its patience with the football team, with only 6% of fans having confidence.

LasVegas_1_112025-1.png

While there will be fans who don’t want the Raiders to lose draft position, the team will be attempting to gain a victory. It will be an ugly game between two struggling offenses, and fans will see which offense is more hideous.

Las Vegas Raiders fire OC Chip Kelly

gettyimages-2229128768.jpg

Following Sunday’s 24-10 loss the Las Vegas Raiders made the decision to fire offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, who was previously made the highest paid OC in the NFL this off-season as the Raiders drew him away from Ohio State. The Raiders offense ranked bottom three in majority of offensive categories and allowed 10 sacks vs the Browns in their loss. The firing comes as the second coordinator Las Vegas has fired this season after moving off of special teams coordinator Tom McMahon a few weeks earlier.

The Raiders have yet to name an interim OC, though QB coach and former offensive coordinator Greg Olson is the leading candidate due to his experience in the role. The Raiders sit at 2-9 following Sunday’s loss with a matchup vs the Chargers this weekend.

Las Vegas Raiders keep stumbling in home loss to Browns

Myles Garrett (95) and the Cleveland Browns defense sacked Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith 10 times.

When I wrote: “You can’t spell “incompetent” without Pete” seven games into the Las Vegas Raiders 2025 campaign, it was dubbed by some as too harsh.

That column was written after the Silver & Black went into they bye week off a 31-0 shellacking by the Kansas City Chiefs and, despite a valiant effort out of the hiatus (30-29 overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars), Pete Carroll’s Raiders have dropped five-straight games with Sunday’s 24-10 lopsided home loss to the Cleveland Browns.

At 2-9 overall, is that opening line to my column “too harsh” or about right?

Crazy he’d say that about his own firing https://t.co/dAEpS6SDCe

— Matt Holder (@MHolder95) November 24, 2025

Because 11 games into the 2025 season, these Carroll-led Raiders are still stumbling along, making mistakes that should be reserved for preseason and the first four weeks of the regular season, incompetent surely sums up this football team.

“You mentioned execution by players. John McKay was once asked, ‘What do you think your team’s execution? He said, ”The execution is that I think it’s a good idea.” But I never did really understand how he was willing to say that, but I just did it,” Carroll jokingly said when asked who is at fault at the team’s lack of execution. “So anyway, we have to execute better. We have to match up better. We have to do a lot of things better to get the kind of play we need. And so, we’re looking at us in practice, and we’re able to do it there. We’ve got to carry it to the games, and the teams are out there playing, too.”

Forgive Carroll for joking. Because after all, that’s what his football team is: A joke.

Paced by pass rushing phenom Myles Garrett, Browns dropped Raiders quarterback Geno Smith 10 times highlighting (or lowlighting) Carroll’s decision to make his son Brennan the offensive line/run game coordinator heading into this 2025 campaign.

10 SACKS FOR BROWNS TODAY.
3 FOR MYLES TODAY.
18 FOR MYLES ON THE SEASON.

CLEvsLV on CBS/Paramount+https://t.co/HkKw7uXVnt pic.twitter.com/hzwSJXLfny

— NFL (@NFL) November 24, 2025

Overall, Las Vegas’ offense couldn’t do much other than give rookie running back Ashton Jeanty the ball — 17 caries for 50 yards (2.9 yards per carry average), eight receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown as Smith ended up 30 of 44 for 285 yards with that lone score and — gasp! — no interceptions.

The Raiders defense did have its moments. Such as an interception from edge rusher Charles Snowden and defensive end Malcolm Koonce showing the pre-ACL-injury burst and closing speed on a sack. Las Vegas star pass rusher led the team with eight total tackles and a game-high five tackles for loss.

But with the offense unable to stay on the field, Chip Kelly’s group sure looked like the Tom Walsh/John Shoop 2006 offense.

Cleveland, meanwhile, wasn’t without it’s own brain farts, however. This long pass from quarterback Shedeur Sanders to wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is humorously repeat-worthy:

Let’s hit the quick slants as fast as this game got out of hand for Las Vegas:

—Sanders wasn’t spectacular against the Raiders defense finishing 11 of 20 for 209 yards with one touchdown and interception. The rookie quarterback was also sacked once. But the Colorado product did showcase a live arm and stayed on his feet sans that one takedown he absorbed.

—Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins finished with two touchdowns on 16 carries and 47 yards. Both of his end zone visits arrived in the first quarter and would be the duo of touchdowns scored until the fourth quarter.

—Veteran receiver Tyler Lockett paced the Raiders air attack with four receptions for a game-high 62 yards. His 15.5 yards per catch average also led the Silver & Black. Tight end Brock Bowers added six catches for 55 yards while veteran Ian Thomas hauled in four passes for 36 yards.

—Garrett powered the Browns pass rush with three sacks while defensive tackle (and former Raider) Maliek Collins racked up 2.5. Linebacker Devin Bush and defensive ends Isaiah McGuire and Cameron Thomas had one apiece. Mike Hall Jr, Shelby Harris (another former Raider), and Jerome Baker each had half a sack.

—Browns rookie running back Dylan Sampson snared Sanders’ first-career passing touchdown on a screen pass. Sampson showcased the speed and vision to weave past traffic and leave the Raiders defense in the dust.

When writing about #Browns rookies #Raiders needed to account for, spoke about Sampson's receiving skills and speed. And… Welp. https://t.co/UCdKgVl7vl

Quotes of Note:

“At this point, you know you’re not playing for the playoffs, which is unfortunate, but you’ve just got to keep showing up every day, positive attitude and keep working. We work all year to have 17 opportunities, that’s all you can do. You can cry and moan, and it is what it is. At this point you play for the love of the game, and we’re in the NFL, nothing’s guaranteed. Tomorrow’s not guaranteed for anybody, so you should keep showing and keep working.”

—Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby summing up the 2-9 Raiders season so far

“It’s definitely super frustrating. Everyone’s trying as hard as they can, obviously, no one here is BS-ing and stuff. Everyone wants to win so bad, and it’s just not coming together on game day.”

—Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers on the frustration of things not translating from practice to gamedays

Up Next:

The Raiders are set to hit the road and face the Los Angeles Chargers for Round 2 of their AFC West divisional matchups. The Bolts (7-4 overall) come off their bye week heading into this Week 13 matchup in SoFi Stadium. The division rivals initially met in Week 2 this season with Los Angeles zapping Las Vegas 20-9. It was a contest where Smith threw three interceptions while getting sacked thrice.

2026 Las Vegas Raiders Draft Scouting: David Bailey

David Bailey

Position: EDGE Rusher

Height: 6’3

Weight: 250

Stats: 2025 (11 games) – 34 tackles, 16 TFL, 12.5 sacks, PBU, 2 FF, 71 pressures, 22 QB hits, 23% win rate

Class/Age: Senior, 21

Team: Texas Tech

Positives:

First, yes I know Tyree Wilson came from Texas Tech so please don’t get up in arms about another TTU pass rusher. Bailey is a freak human being, his 6’3 height might be undersized for the position in the NFL but Bailey has long arms, a strong lower half, and is a lightning quick pass rusher. Bailey displays an electric first step quickness that he’s able to translate into power with an exceptional speed to power conversion. Bailey has posted a 405 bench, 575 squat, and 4.47 40 (22.16 mph) this off-season. Bailey does a phenomenal job bending the EDGE and utilizing his short area quickness to get around the EDGE and collapse the pocket. Bailey’s hip and ankle flexibility allows him to quickly change direction and bend while utilizing momentum and speed to work laterally or horizontally. Bailey has the ability to plant his arm into the tackles chest and win with strength as well as his bend. The senior pass rusher has violent strong hands at the POA with a good bag of traits including a swipe, chop, club, rip, and swim that allow him to get through the tackle paired with his athletic traits and he’s demonstrated a plethora of secondary moves as well. Bailey has an elite motor and consistent nature to defend the run utilizing his lower body to anchor at the POA and drive the offensive line into the rushing lane while utilizing his frame to make plays at the LOS. Bailey is a wanting run defender with a knack for making plays on the ball carrier coming across from the backside or collapsing the rushing lane before the ball carrier has a chance with his blend of speed and power. Bailey tackles well and latches on without letting go, he’s shown a relentless ability to get to the QB on the round and continues to go downfield to make a play on the ball as well. Bailey has the ability to drop into coverage with good feel and ability in space due to his time at Stanford along with his lower body athleticism. Bailey has versatility playing in space, 7/9 techs, along with some time at 5 tech as well in both 3-4, 4-3, and 3-3 schemes. Bailey shows a special ability to create turnovers with 9 career forced fumbles utilizing his length and speed to quickly collapse the pocket and lodge the ball loose in pass rush situations while also demonstrating good punch ability on runners.

Texas Tech’s David Bailey continues to strike fear in the soul of every OT and QB he faces. Swipe-rip from the nation’s leader in pressures for a sack. pic.twitter.com/SbPgKJlQCt

— Bobby Football (@Rob__Paul) November 15, 2025

Weakness:

Bailey’s biggest knocks come from his consistency in minor traits including a refinement needed to peak and stack in the run game which will be developed in the NFL under good coaching. Bailey can be too aggressive at times and over pursue his rushing lanes which can cause a backside cut for running backs though he’ll learn with time to adjust and maintain his position more frequently. Bailey does a have a tendency to get defeated in the run game by double team blocks that cause him to get out of leverage when he’s not able to gain leverage first. Bailey will need to likely add a little more weight in order to maintain his strength in the NFL against stronger offensive lineman. Bailey is athletic enough to take down ball carriers in college football when he misses a gap but that is a questionable trait if it will translate to the NFL. At just 6’3 Bailey is slightly undersized for the position, though he doesn’t get flushed out by larger tackles largely in part to his strength in the lower body. Bailey will need to consistently covert speed to power more often and mix in more traditional power rush approaches to keep tackles guessing in the NFL. His run defense while the willingness is present will need to be fixed in the NFL and that could cause him some issues in his draft stock. There was also a situation with Bailey getting into a scuffle with a reporter which will need to be monitored.

This is picture perfect from David Bailey (#31). He sets up the outside rush all game long for this and it works perfectly. pic.twitter.com/ihkAHgZqsD

— Newt Westen (@NFLDraft_Westen) November 8, 2025

Grade: 1.41- Early/Mid 1st Round

Pro-Comp: Byron Young (LAR)

Bailey is going to go early in round 1, he’s a phenomenal athlete and tremendous pass rusher who has glimpses of being an electric run defender when he’s developed a more refined and consistent skillset. Bailey shows a special ability to generate bend and twitch as a pass rusher with a strong lower body that allows him to rely on more than just athletic traits and technique. He’s a versatile pass rusher with true ability to cover in zone and some one on one situations while also being versatile among the defensive line and maintaining his elite play style. A highly productive player, Bailey has a career 145 tackles, 38.5 TFL, 27 sacks, 9 FF, 162 pressures, 76 stops, 58 QB Hits, and a 25.2% win rate. Bailey is a special pass rush prospect that will generate instant impact at the NFL level. The Raiders have lacked a true pass rusher across from Maxx Crosby outside of one season from Malcolm Koonce, who’s slowly returning to form after a torn ACL and Bailey would give them a tremendous pass rush duo.

Many Las Vegas Raiders fans aren’t digging Kyler Murray chatter

Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray?

I don’t like the idea and neither do many Las Vegas Raiders fans.

There have been reports that the Arizona Cardinals may part ways with the quarterback and the Raiders could be a fit as he has already been connected to the Raiders next year.

We recently asked our community members how they thought about that idea. It wasn’t close as about three quarters of the poll takers are not in favor of the notion.

I completely agree with the majority on this one.

Last offseason, of course, the Raiders thought they ended the yearly turnstile at the most important position in sports when they traded a third-round pick to the Seattle Seahawks for Geno Smith. The plan was for Smith to remain the quarterback in Las Vegas, at least, through next season. But he has been a big disappointment.

So, there is a possibility the Raiders will move away from Smith, who would create $18.5 million in dead money if released. I understand that plan. But Murray? For who? For what?

Murray, who will be 29 to start the 2026 season, is surely talented, but he also has his limitations. He would likely not be a long-term answer for the Raiders and it would basically be continuing the parade of Jimmy Garoppolo, Gardner Minshew and Smith.

Don’t do it, Raiders and the fans agree.

Here are some of your responses. Sign up and go to the comments section.

So let me get this straight. There are actually some who think the NFL’s most pathetic, incompetent, poorly run franchise should trade for an uninterested, undisciplined, lazy, I should have played baseball, average QB? Yep, makes since in Raiderland.

Las Vegas is not currently the kind of team that can take another team’s cast-off and make them work.

Raiders Reacts Survey Week 13: Team’s direction

Pete Carroll

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Raiders fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

The Las Vegas Raiders are heading in a new direction on Sunday with the firing of Chip Kelly. The offense has struggled all season and hasn’t scored more than 16 points in the last three games. The performance against the Browns was the final straw for Kelly.

With Greg Olson now calling the plays, there could be changes overall to the Raiders’ offensive line. Hopefully, we will start to see the younger players get shine and make an impact as well. Pete Carroll is looking for wins, but at 2-9, it is time to evaluate what you have in this draft class.

In this Week’s SB Nation Reacts, we ask what your confidence is in the team’s direction. Let us know in the survey below.
