Joe and Shawn were finally able to get a recording done now that Shawn has his power back and Joe has gotten over losing his recording with Louis. They discuss some news, the Thursday Night Football Game, plus their thoughts on the rest of every game in Week 1. They also provide some additional thoughts on Week 1 overall. Joe and Shawn are back again this week and have hopefully worked out some of the kinks. They discuss the news coming out of the NFL on the last day teams have to get their rosters down to 53 and there are some surprises. Then they go over their predictions for the NFL awards with a bit of inspiration from a show near and dear to Joe’s heart. As always, Joe has a surprise category for Shawn.

While technology and life hindered Shawn and Joe from their weekly recording, the old adage goes “You can’t keep a good podcaster down.” Shawn and Joe discuss unfortunate injuries to some young running backs, a few nice paydays for some vets and quarterback situations throughout the league.
