Shawn & Trey are back for another week of Beef Chat! They discuss Kwame Brown’s reaction to Gilbert Arenas’ appearance on the All The Smoke Podcast. Then they discuss the ratings that have been on the rise the last few weeks of the season as well as for the Play-In Tournament.
Shawn was LIVE with Trey and Marcus on the Angry White Dad YouTube Channel on May 16th, 2021 shortly after 7 PM EST! They were handing out their awards for the different categories as well as their All-NBA Teams (including Defensive & Rookie). They also previewed the match-ups that were set in the East Play-In Games as well as who they want to see in the 7th spot of the West.
Shawn and Trey are back for the 2nd time this week and are here to show you where the beef is. They start with the Bradley Beal back-and-forth with Kent Bazemore regarding the Title Race with Bazemore’s teammate, Steph Curry. Then they get into how KAT’s comeback to Jimmy Butler’s trash-talk didn’t get enough love. They also discuss how Ant Man is the Alpha that the Minnesota Timberwolves need right now. Then we announce what Sunday’s pod recording will be about.
Shawn and Trey are back to talk about the NBA. They start with a discussion about the NBA Play-In games and with contradicting LeBron James statement we agree with. We then discuss the Play-In matchups we are excited for. Then we get into a discussion of how the NBA is working to expand their fanbase. During that discussion, we bring up ESPN’s Alternative Marvel Broadcast and how the G-League is expanding to Mexico. Plus, some advice from Trey on how the Bulls should handle their roster on the last 5 games.
Shawn is back with Trey who has survived the double sticks vaccination! They start with a quick discussion of the Chicago Bulls odds to keep their pick if they miss the playoffs which goes to the Orlando Magic if it’s not Top 4. Then they get into their thoughts on LaMelo Ball coming back in time for the Hornets playoff run. They have a quick tangent on Anthony Edwards’ somewhat surprising Rookie season. Then Shawn starts a discussion calling for the Ben Simmons/Magic Johnson to stop and his likely future in the NBA. They provide love for the Phoenix Suns…
